This is my last semester here at Greenville Tech, and I must say that I love the school. The instructors are friendly, and always willing to help. The classes are simple and provide enough challenge to pass easily while still learning, the campus is clean, organized, and looks great. My only complaint on this college is the financial aid, and business department. Both don’t know what they are doing and have made several mistakes with my stuff. However in the end it gets fixed, and everything goes on as it should.

The quality of education here is great! All the opportunities are here for you and you get out what you put into it. All my professors have been great and I am looking forward to transferring to a four year university!

In the commercials, Greenville tech said that they help you get ready for work outside of school. However, like most college they make you take math classes. But about 40% of the students there have to retake the course. But why don't they offer more relevant courses or at list make the student take only the necessary classes and not have them waste there time and make them want to quit?

It is 100% true when people say you get what you pay for. It never was my plan to come to Greenville tech but I came in hope to transfer to a university. Time and time again I've been screwed over by teach staff that can care less about helping you and people who aren't qualified to even have the job but get it anyway because Greenville tech refuse to pay real qualified workers. This school may have it's accreditation but fail to tell students about the majority of the class Greenville tech provide are not transferable. So they basically having you take classes that are not only a waste of students of money but you are no where close to transferring. Yes I'll admit some people found some success here but a lot of others haven't. The balance isn't even enough to balance. My advise for those who are thinking of applying to Greenville tech and transfer from it.it is not the risk to take I recommend a different two year college to transfer from or it's never too late to apply as a freshman to that four year university. Right now Greenville tech isn't the place to better yiur education please trust me on that

Absolutely terrible school. I'm not sure it should even be accredited. In fact, I'd bet that if the accreditation folks looked closely at it, it would lose its accreditation. Beyond that, the instructors don't care and the support staff is laughable at best. I don't think they could care less about students or do a worse job of educating them. It would be a public service to shut this place down.

Biggest joke of a college in history. Literally no support to students, no one really knows what they're doing, financial aid is full of idiots and not only that for me to get a parking sticker I need to have classes registered even though I might be tutoring people on campus every other day.

If you're thinking of going to this college please don't rather dish out the extra cash and go to a proper school with proper support for students. That's the difference between a budget school and an expensive four years school is that students get a lot more help at places like USC Upstate.

This place has idiots working there. You ask a question at financial aid or business office and you 500 different answers. Maybe instead of just hiring someone looking for a paycheck they should someone that actually wants to work, and will make sure correct answers are given. I went to the business office and the hateful b*tch wouldn't even get off her phone, and the only answer I got was from someone in the back yelling it to me. If my education was not so important to me, I would leave. Think before visiting GTC. They don't care about you, just the money.

Greenville tech is a good school, just don't stay on campus cause they will charge you for every thing even to move out($50)with is beyond crazy. They forget that we are human and we have a life and that people have family emergencies sometimes. They also messed up my paper work when I arrived here. They are just trying to get over on us and get money which is sad.

Greenville Tech is a great school with great instructors. My only problem was my advisor for the PTA program. She didn't give me correct information & basically told me to change my major because I wouldn't have enough "points" to get in which was a lie. She saw me struggling in certain classes but never gave me the option to take an easier course that would count same as the class that I was struggling in. I finally switched my major to OTA because I thought she knew what she was talking about. My new advisor is excellent he told me everything I needed to know and gave me options on other classes that I could take!

Truly the worst institution ever. Refuses to answer phone calls or to return messages.
Makes a decision without collecting all of the facts.
Ignores common decency in favor of money.
Believes that it is always right - will not make any concession for errors on its part.

STAY AWAY - there is always a better alternative. Take a class online or find an actual college. NOTHING is worth having to deal with this lying, cheating and subpar institution.

Greenville Technical College is a wonderful school, I have enjoyed my learning experience here so far. There are so many resources that the school offers to their students and although it is not easy work, it is well worth it. I have come so far and the Instructors do their part with using Blackboard and Email as a communication tool. I have meet students that say things like "The teacher did not tell me that the assignments were due, so I missed them" or " The teacher wants me to fail" but the truth isThis is College not Preschool and it is up to you to stay on top of your work and check your Email and Blackboard "Daily" and you to will succeed. As long as you are focused driven, and want to learn and use all the resources available you will be successful. Signed "A Current Student that is Due to Graduate in Less than a Year"!!
