Great place to join. Friendly people and lots to do. Services are friendly and comfortable, no one judges you.
Warm, caring community with a wonderful spiritual leader, Rabbi Stein.
My sons were raised and proudly had their bar mitzvah's here. It's a place where everyone knows your name. I was a member from 1991-2005. As members I was involved as PTA president for the religious school and volunteered many Shabbat mornings to help in the kitchen for the kiddush prep.
There are many congregational events for Purim carnival, superbowl, break the fast, men's and sisterhood clubs. Of course they have fundraisers !
The temple has stained glass windows that are beautiful.
All ages are welcome and the junior congregation as well as the tot shabbats keep the kids busy so the adults can daven.
Woman are welcome on the bee-mah.
I just don't like that woman wear kippot- that sort of gives me the creepers!
I love GHC! I have been a member since 2004. It is a very hamish place. It is a very comfortable synagogue. There are great people who are so are so warm and kind. Shabbat is wonderful.
