  All cabs are hit or miss but Green Cab is the best cab company in Madison. I've had pretty good service most of the time I've used them to take my cat to the vet or when I've had a flat tire on my bicycle. Kevin was a great driver who was cordial, on time, and had a mask for me when my own got stuck in my backpack zipper.
  
  I'll be honest about the negatives so you'll believe me about the positives. A small minority of drivers have scared me unnecessarily driving like NASCAR when I was not at all in a hurry. One guy wouldn't open the hatchback for me even though I clearly did not have a hand free to open it myself. The last time I took a cab home on a rainy day it took an hour to get a cab with a bike rack. Amanda's original vision for the company was for all the cabs to have bike racks and I don't know why only a few have them now. Uber, Lyft, and the other cabs don't have the and they should play to their strengths. I can't be the only bike commuter who would to ride to work and get a quick cab home in case of rain or a flat tire.

  Called green cab more than a hour ago was told my ride would be there in 30 mins or less than called back asking where they were said they were 10 mins away then called them back after 30 more mins to be told it well take another 15 mins don't use green cab there trash. Have had way better experience from Lyft and Uber even union cab. Y'all are lacking 💯

  The cab driver called me and said that he would be outside my apartment in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later he showed up. The entire ride he was looking at his phone, and he took a route that was indirect to say the least. But the best part was when he dropped me off, he waited for me to get out of the car and then proceeded to back into me and then when I called to complain about the horrible situation the dispatcher told me that a refund or discount was impossible. This was by far the worst cab experience of my life. If I could rate any lower than 1 star I would.
