We attended the "Twas the Night Before Christmas" event for a second year in a row. Our daughter loves it!
Lovely high end merchandise. Unique one of a kind items.
Fun tour of house, then other docent toured us outside bldgs. Excellent and fun. Interesting history. Seems well kept.
They are really good at staying in character and they have the answer to any question we throw at them.
Great venue for a friends wedding, with staff happy to show us round the house even quite late into the evening.
Family history for me. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Old place, love all the things they do there
The carriages were very interesting; history of days gone by. Docents were great, and very knowledgeable. Very nice.

Granger Homstead and Carriage Museum has long been known as the former home of Gideon Granger, the first Post Master General of the United States, but many do not know of the exclusive carriage collection that is also a part of the homestead. It is an incredible collection of horse-drawn carriages (nearly 70 different types), everything from medical and commercial wagons, to surreys ( yes with the fringe on top), hearses, sleighs, and sporting vehicles representing transportation from the 19th century. You can just imagine what it must have been like driving your carriage down main street inthe 1800s. I would highly recommend a visit to Granger. There are carriages rides available throughout the summer and sleigh rides during winter months.
