Greetings! My name is Chris Benner, I am the owner of the NEW Grandy's "meat & 3" fast food restaurant on South Church Street in Murfreesboro.

My family has lived on the South Church Street side of Murfreesboro since 2006. My son and daughter attended Barfield Elementary, Christiana Middle and Riverdale High. My daughter is still at Riverdale and my son is now at MTSU. My son played baseball at Barfield Crescent Park for years. We love Murfreesboro and this side of town.

However, there has always been limited dining options over here. We love Camino and Toot's but we felt like we needed another option besides burgers, fries and chicken nuggets. That is how the idea of bringing Grandy's to South Church was conceived. I am a franchisee of Captain D's Seafood Kitchen and Captain D's is the parent company of Grandy's. I asked Captain D's if I could be a franchisee of Grandy's and they gave me the "green light". There was never any doubt where our first Grandy's would be located. It had to be somewhere on South Church Street!

We opened our doors on August 24th, 2020. We currently employ over 40 team members. Our employees range from young 16 year olds working their first job to very experienced restaurant workers with 20+ years in the business. Our General Manager, Jamey Tidwell, is someone that I have known and trust for nearly 20 years. When we open our 2nd location later this year in McMinville, TN, Jamey will promote his successor to run Grandy's on South Church Street. Jamey will open the NEW McMinville location.

We are super excited to be bringing Grandy's to South Church St. and the rest of Tennessee!
