Excellent lighthouse and state park! The view from the top is incredible! Great volunteer staff! Heck, I might apply for lighthouse keeper program also! Great picture taking spot!

Our Visit was in the spring, the weather was still a little cool and the crowds were non existent, although the clouds were rolling in. The ride up from Traverse City was a pleasant ride along side of some truly Michigan Farmland and it took a little over and Hour.

Lighthouse is pretty cool to climb up and see the view. Very small, tight quarters but worth $4. And the water and rock covered trails near it, are incredible. The views are awesome.
