Open and offers a great view of the lake. Park and restrooms were clean.
Great place to spend a day! Beautiful views.
Lol there are bright orange signs up everywhere that says do not come in contact with water.
When you just want to get away, and go to the park. Sightseeing, have a picnic or what ever. That's a place to go.
Great place to camp! It's a beautiful location on the lake and the and the other RVers staying there were very friendly too. I would love to stay again next time we are in the area.
Many things to do along with great campsites and plenty of scenery. Multiple beaches as well.
The camp ground is great. Clean, nice shade, clear hiking trail. Very disappointing that no one keeps the beach clean. The 20+ dead fish in varying states of decay and trash was disgusting. Even if you don't swim, there are other uses for the beach.
I don't really like coming up here to this area, but if I have to, this is where I'd hang out on a nice afternoon. The lake is so large that it seems like you're at the ocean, so you don't have that small Ohio lake feeling here. It's just an interesting lake to say the least - in one of the flattest areas in the entire state. There's a small beach area for swimming and plenty of spots for a picnic. In the summer there are various sports events held on the lake.
Great place for fun times and fishing. With a great camp site, parking, Splash pad, easy access to local restaurant's and shopping.
The campground was neat, there's a splash pad and volleyball court, lots of fun things to do with the family. Hopefully they get the lake sorted out soon, it's one of the many bodies of water in the area being choked by algae right now.
The park is nice, well kept, I wish there were more hiking type trails but it's more about the lake here. It's a very nice wide open lake, however the water isn't great and has been battling algae issues for years. Probably still great for boating on the right days. The park itself is still very nice to walk around and relax. There is also a great dog park on one side of the lake as well. We use it often.
I went here looking for a place to hike, but this is clearly more of a place to go boating. Still, my dog and I found some trails through the frisbee-golf course which were enjoyable. The area seems a bit too crowded for enjoyable camping, in my opinion, but I imagine the lake makes for good fishing or water skiing.
