Friendly staff amazing meat the falls apart and melts in your mouth. I hate eating fat but I eat the whole thing here.
I highly recommend the banana pudding - it is something special.

Food is usually great but the staff is pretty bad. It always takes forever to be served. When you order to go, they take their time getting your order ready. Right in front of you too. It's almost like they do it on purpose. No sense of urgency at all. Call them to place a pick up order. You'll be placed on hold almost every time. Go ahead, try it. Hold time is typically 5 minutes as well. They are ALWAYS out of something. "No chicken today, no okra today, no beans today, no tea today". I think if the owner knew what was going on, things would change. It's a shame too because the food is great. Better customer service close by.

This is my BBQ go-to spot. Their BBQ is the best around. Nice chunks of pulled pork with plenty of bark and no fat, and their brisket -- oh my, the brisket. Amazing. Killer mac-and-cheese. Try the "redneck lasagna", it's yummy.

We are here now for the first time. We were looking for a place to eat after a Pope High School basketball game. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with baked beans and beef short rib plate. Great Choices! We will definitely be returning for both items. The ribs were spectacular no sauce needed!

We're from NC and know our BBQ. This place is a little slice of home. So delicious! Customer service was great. We've got three little ones so we asked for dessert to come out after our food. Accommodating for families and tasty food fast! Will definitely be back!

I've known these guys from the first day they opened and their food quality is very good BUT do not expect ANY SERVICE what-so-ever. Cecilia who answers the phone and serves the tables, may be as rude as I've ever met in a restaurant. I personally have experienced 2 ONE star customer service issues with her. I have friends in the area who said they would NEVER go back due to their experience with her, although they do like the food quality. Greg and his partner deserve better. I will check back occasionally and if Cecilia is no longer employed I will go support these guys otherwise, find other BBQ opportunities in the area. I will support them at other locations but I live around the corner and this location is very convenient.
