Beautiful beach with a nice playground and a few spots for a barbeque. Nice place to hangout with the kids. Or if you are wanting to go on a date there's a nice elegant restaurant right next to the pier. Also a nice pier to fish off of but you better get there early because it can get crowded pretty quick.

Great local park with a playground and facilities. There's little "beach" left except for south of the pier but still a great place for a picnic or just daily outing

It's a great spot to hit for a little fun in the sun. We enjoyed ourselves very much. It was very busy and active, there was some kind of competition going on. Nevertheless we still loved our time there.

This used to be one of my favorite beaches. It still is a great place for paddle boarding. However, the beach has disappeared alot over the last 3 years. It's now much harder to go on long beach walks here. It's still a fun place to hangout and bbq!

Nice relaxing area to rest and enjoy the beauty of everything the ocean has to offer. I was there a few years back and there was green grass all around, and no construction going on. I do understand we are still in a drought, and hopefully the construction around is to better the area. We stopped here to rest for a bit from a trip up North, it was our halfway point, and since I truly enjoy everything about the beach, we chose this area to relax.

This is a great place to hang out, go for a walk, have a picnic, or just take in the view. There’s not much sand and a lot of the beach is rocky, so this isn’t really the ideal place to sunbathe. There’s usually a good amount of people here, but at the same time it’s not crowded. And also the parking is free.

Not really much of a beach there. But has areas for a big group of people and parking is free. The Restaurant at the in this really nice and has great food. Also a nice place to walk or just seat.

A great park to hang out, BBQ and watch the sun set at the beach. There's ample parking although it's not the best beach if you're looking to lay out at the beach. There's a small section for that on the other side of the pier.

And who said the waters were not rising? Ask anyone they will tell you the beach used to be existent at high tide. To be fair, it was a fill created by the Army during WW2, and it is slightly miraculous it has not washed away yet. All the recent construction is slightly nerving though, cause now the parking situation is even worse than it was before. Pick up your trash!
