Hi the staff was both very helpful and friendly. Shop is nice and clean and the equipment was good. They gave us a 15% discount as well for printing out and filling out their forms in advance. Definitely would go back.

I am 40 years old and new and I’ve been skiing for 30 of them. I worked with Dallas and he helped me buy and mount a pair of marker bindings for my faction skis. He was extremely helpful, if you want the best in big bear definitely go to these guys.

I've been a customer for decades! Goldsmith's always gives great advice and recommendations for skis and snowboard and related equipment. They're pricing is very competitive with many online suppliers. It's always great to support a local vendor!

This was our second visit to Goldsmith's and my previous 5-star experience was not a fluke. Goldsmith's is an extremely personable high-throughput equipment rental and ski shop. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and efficient, getting us what we needed despite the number of outstanding parallel demands and lots of customers waiting.

We were in for skis but we had some sledding to do too. They sell sleds, but they also RENT a REALLY nice sled complete with padded seat and sturdy handles. I highly recommend renting this sled and trying it out on a big hill if you, like me, exceed the weight limit of the typical plastic toboggans/saucer sleds.

They'll rent you skiis, boots, poles, helmet, parka, and bib. You need your own goggles and gloves (though they'll sell you those if needed).

Best time to go during the high season is about 30 minutes before they close, mostly for traffic reasons.

This place is great. First shop I visited over 20 years ago. The same faces have been there helping me for decades. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and are stocked with everything you need. It's been a while since I used their rental department, but I remember it being quick, easy, painless, and quality They will always go the extra mile but if you're coming during a peak time and they're swamped, then they're swamped. It's not their fault and they won't cut corners or rush you through expect great service no matter what and if you have to wait then the wait will be worth it. Trust.
