Erika is awesome and I love my dress and I will be back Saturday for a fitting appointment. Less than a month and I will be Mrs. Jackson 😁😁😁
Horrible experience with golden needle. Was in a wedding recently and none of our dresses fit. Then the tuxes ended up being wrong. It’s very aggravating paying there expensive prices then nothing being right! I will never go here again and I would advise anyone reading this not to either.
Bought a dress here and had it altered. They messed up the alteration, tried to have it fixed by them and it was still not right, looked like a paper dress. The seam was crooked. Their attitude is aweful, and they have "the best seamstress". Apparently not
asked for a refund since the dress can not be worn now. They said "no we don't do refunds on things that were altered"even though it was their fault.
Will not be doing business here and will definitely let others know.
Heard from others they had the same problem. They got their dress altered here and had to take elsewhere to get fixed.
Sad this is how they do business
We have been through high school for 3 girls, a formal 18 birthday, and two wedding! They are very helpful, friendly, and eager to assist in any way needed We highly recommend!
I do not recommend this bridal shop. I bought a wedding dress about 8 months before my wedding and everything you could imagine went wrong, all preventable things.
This shop gets 2 stars - the manager is very nice and the dress was reasonably priced.
1. My dress required alterations. I would schedule appointments approximately 2 weeks apart (I had about 6+ appointments over several months). Each time I would go in to try on the dress, the alterations would not be done. I would have to reschedule and even at the rescheduled appointments, the alterations would still not be done. The excuse was that the alterationist was older and could not work like she used to and they could not force her to do something she couldn't and was family, which made rectifying the situation more challenging. As a business, you gotta do what you gotta do. Most of my visits were spent waiting 30 minutes to a couple hours for alterations to be done.
2. The jewelry. I had picked a set of jewelry out of the case, paid for it and requested that it be held with the dress. My mistake, I had no idea that it the shop would lose it 2 weeks before my wedding. When it was finally brought to my attention, I was asked to produce proof that I had paid for it. Another set was not in stock in the store, nor did the supplier have any stock to sell. I had to change my jewelry selection (which did end up being as beautiful) and the shop had it directly shipped to my house because they could not get it in to the store in time for the wedding.
3. The french bustle. The bustle is not included in the price of the dress. It was crunch time and I needed it done. Even though I had began the alterations well in advanced, because of the multiple set backs, the dress was much behind schedule. It was the only thing left to alter and about 3 weeks before the wedding, it still was not done. I called every week from that time to check up on the process and last I heard, the under bustle just needed to be completed. I came into the shop to pick up the dress, the manager showed me one of the under bustle buttons and I trusted that it was completed. Took it home and a few days later did a trial run with my sis only to find out that the other two buttons were never sewn in. So, I ended up purchasing a dedicated reception dress.
4. Communication is poor. No one talks to each other, no one knows what is going on.
5. The manager is so very sweet, but is a poor manager. She does not accept responsibility, implement strategies to change outcomes, or effectively delegate and communicate with customers and employees. She profusely apologizes, but that does not actually fix the problems.
I had a great experience with the golden needle. The customer service exceeded my expectations and helped me with all my needs. All their work is exceptional and I highly recommend their services!
This is the second daughter and third dress from this store in two years. This store is well worth the 45 minute drive. The dress selection is greater than the impression from the small store front. Always a crowd so be patient, it's worth it. The staff know the dresses, the designers and the prices. Dad's, they have a list of which dresses they sold for each prom, so they won't sell a "repeat" dress for the same prom. Who knew?
They could use a few more comfy chairs, cause trying on dresses takes a few minutes. :)
