Grounds of rv park are clean and well maintained. Grounds workers are very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The grill had a good selection of food. Staff went above and beyond and we were very pleased with our service. Thank you for the wonderful service

Next RV park in New Mexico
Nathan and his wife Lisa are the greatest!! Best camp host our family had ever had. They have different activities every nite of the week. The restaurant on the property has a chef that really can cook. Gumbo on Saturday night is better than any ive had in LA. If your in eagles nest golden eagle is must stay.

Stopped at the Grill for dinner. Friendly, personal service. The menu and Chef are amazing and unique! Fair prices and good vibes. We had Rhonda’s BBQ Pizza, Mango Habanero Wings, Gumbo, Chicken Finger Plate, and Skillet Corn. EVERYTHING was delicious! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town!

Great getaway with the husband, nice break from daily grind. Enjoyed the clean accommodations, friendly staff and yummy food. We were able to sit and relax, but also had plenty to do around the park when we wanted to explore! Great pricing, can’t wait to go back!!!

This park is beautifully situated with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The camp hosts were very helpful. The only criticism I have of the park is that you are jammed tight up next to the trailer beside you (if I put my awning out, it will be almost touching).

We fell in love with Eagles Nest and the Golden Eagle RV Park. Have stayed at two other parks in the area and by far this was the best. From the friendly service to the amazing views it made our trip one to remember. Having onsite food was a huge benefit for days We didn’t want campsite food. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. The weekly trips are an amazing bonus. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Just got back from 5 days at this beautiful park. First let me say that if you have never been to the enchanted circle then GO. We booked 5 days at Golden Eagle and I must say being a full timer this park is a cut above in service.. The owners Bruce and Bridgette are absolutely wonderful and there to help. The views of the mountains and lake from the park are unbelievable. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and the grounds were very clean and neat. I was able to find a few parts that I needed for my Trailer in there store. Was pleased to find a onsite (chuck wagon) food trailer that served breakfast and lunch Breakfast Burrito was huge and tasty, big enough for me and my wife to share. One of the few parks that we have been to that offered tours for me and craft classes for my wife. Can wait till next year we plan on spending 3 weeks in this park

Just got back from my stay here. When I arrived I was greeted by lovely mountain and lake views. The employees couldn't have been nicer and the complete focus on the camper experience was definitely there. The breakfast they provided was amazing especially loved the burritos and biscuits and gravy. The farmer's market was a unique and enjoyable experience. 5 star would definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

This is for the chuck wagon food service red enclosed cooking trailer in the parking lot it was terrible. They should be ashamed of the over priced microwave yes microwave product they put out. They should advise you that what your getting is a frozen Jimmy Dean type product you purchase in the freezer section of the grocery store.

Nice park with outstanding views. people working there are extra nice and helpful. WiFi was weak when we were there, but I don't think it's a common problem because my parents were there the week before and had no problems. Will definitely stay there whenever we are in the area.

I would have given a 5 except spaces are too close together where your neighbors sewage is 2 feet from your door and vice versa. You are surrounded by mountains and the lake is across the street. It is beautiful. Ruby throat Hummingbirds everywhere! Everything else great. A bit more expensive than we have paid. With discount over $40 per night. We stayed 2 nights in a travel trailer.

Just left the Park and it was great. Very clean and all the people could not be any nicer. The view is spectacular and the ease of getting to the park was great. They have a chuck wagon and the food was great! The host of the park know the area well and gave us all kinds of tips on where to go. The only thing that we would have liked more would have been a little more room between camping sites. They were plenty long as we have a 42 ft MH and pull a car but the width was tight. Everything else was super. We plan on returning next year. It was great! All the hookups are convient and it is an above average park. Nice bath house , laundry and little store . Very quiet !

Owners are customer service oriented and do all that they can to make your stay special. Site surfaces are grass and gravel and are somewhat level but are a bit closer than we prefer. Grounds are pretty well kept; bath/shower room are nice and clean; camp store is well stocked with supplies as well as gift items. There is an on-site Chuckwagon serving breakfast and lunch until 2:30pm (closed on Thursday). Some members of our rv club were impressed with breakfast burritto, burgers, and ribs. I personally was unimpressed with the tasteless potato salad. The views and weather alone were worth the cost of the stay. Our rv club had made arrangements to attend the Friday evening chuckwagon bar-b-que dinner which included musical entertainment. The food was plentiful but not as tasty as I had hoped. Anasazi beans were promoted as special but taste was not so special. Chicken included back bone pieces served as one of two chicken pieces served on some plates (not what I expect on a $12.95 plate). Ribs had bbq sauce on them but did not taste as if they were actually bar-b-qued. The musical entertainment, however, was great! Thanks, John Todd, for igniting some memories with your playing and singing. Our club also enjoyed our tour day to Cimarron guided by Leroy and Lois. Thanks to Golden Eagle for making our rally a really great time.

Great place to stay. Very clean bathrooms and showers with fish cleaning station. Excellent views. Staff was fantastic, they were able to help us find someone in town to fix a flat tire, on a Sunday, before heading back home. Highly recommended.

Honestly, out of the way but the staff makes up for that. They were kind folks. The park was nice. Hookups oddly placed. Very affordable, Internet was not bad.
