I had a great experience with this Family owned company out of Fort Lauderdale Fla. I got picked up from the cruise ship terminal , brought to the rental lot, picked up a car, drove to the everglades and they took me back to the airport for an extremely reasonable rate, cheaper than anyone else in town, and they are polite, friendly, and very easy to work with. I set it up prior to flying in to Fla. for my cruise and it couldn't have been easier. I will definitely use them again.

The rate is per calendar day not per 24hrs. I told them my original plan was to be gone 30 hours. They quoted me for 2 days. I was told I could pay when I returned. If you use your credit card they charge you a $5 up charge. Total BS!! I took a earlier flight returning 18 ours later. They forced me to pay for 2 days. "its calendar days not per hour." When I called upon departing the terminal I was told to watch for the van. I stood there for 15 minutes and watched the driver drive past. I called and they told me he was circling back around. Yeah after they went back to the lot!. So another 20 minutes went by. My point is with the missed pickup they shouldn't have fought with me over the calendar day and only charged me one day. I promise you I wont use them or recommend them.

We were thrilled to find Goldcoast parking to park our car during a cruise we were taking. It was half the price compared to parking at the cruise port and they shuttled us right to the cruise terminal. Smilie was a pleasure to work with. it as nice to start our vacation off with a friendly conversation. He was warm and welcoming and he is a great representation of of the company.

as you know ft lauderdale airport closed there long term lot so they can milk more$$$ from you. so i now park with gold coast. it was a perfect experience, much cheaper and faster service.used my cells navigator for first trip to them. well run & organized . i lucked out i was picked up as i walked out the door from FLL airport. my car was out front . A+ rating. i used there site to reserve otherwise a extra$5.oo dollar charge for you.

I have been using this family run car rental for 4 years. They couldn't be nicer. Their prices are fair. I always get the kind of car I have requested. Their location to both the airport and the cruise port makes them even more user friendly. They will come to pick you up or bring you to the airport or cruise port when you return the car.

Picked us up from our hotel. A short ride to their facility. Car was brand new, clean and filled with gas. Provided good directions and decent map. All service personnel were polite and friendly. They also picked up the rental from our hotel when we were finished. A++++ all around.

I had booked a car through another company promised for 9:00 am. At11:30 I was tired of waiting for them to "find the SUV." I asked our hotel front desk for recommendation and he led us to Gold Coast. By 12:30, we were picked up and driven to their business and there waiting was an SUV for our day trip to Miami. I owner was extremely accommodating. Would use this company next time we are in town!

DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! MY LICENSE PLATE GOT STOLEN OFF THE BACK OF MY CAR WHILE IT WAS PARKED HERE AND THE OWNER ACTED LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!!! When I alerted them to the fact it was missing the drivers were concerned and told the owner who said "well we don't check to see if it had one on it when you dropped it off" basically accusing me of lying that I ever had one at all. He shrugged it off and continued to go on with his business like nothing was wrong. When he saw I was very upset he said it was not that big of a deal and license plates get stolen all the time and you just file a police report and get a new one. Excuse me?? I have never in my life had my license plate stolen and I used to park my car on the street in Chicago! I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS PLACE IS EVEN OPEN ANYMORE IF LICENSE PLATES BEING STOLEN ARE A COMMON OCCURRENCE HERE!! And even more frustrating is how can an owner of a business can be so rude and inconsiderate and not take any responsibility for what happened! I'm sorry I was under the impression that because I was paying you that you would make sure my car was safe!! He literally said "I don't know I guess someone must have walked onto the lot and taken it off the back of your car. What do you want me to do about it?" The only thing he did do eventually was call the cops for me which I then had to wait over an hour sitting there waiting for the cop to show up to take down my information and while waiting the owner again just kept belittling my feelings and stating that it's not that big of a deal. I seriously hardly ever write reviews but I am writing this one because I wanted to warn everyone so that they don't have the same thing happen to them that happened to me. I wish someone had warned me that parking here wasn't safe, I would have saved me a lot of tears, money, and frustration.

I have repeatedly used Gold Coast for their great prices and excellent customer service. It's nice having a friendly rental car agency that gives that personal touch that is lacking in the big chain rental companies. Thanks to Carol and all the staff for your warm and friendly service.
