Pepperoni bread combo and pencil fried rice combo with Lumpiaso yummy. First visit, friend who grew up in the area and ate here all the time recommended and it was amazing!!!
This use to be my favorite place. I come in and order 50 cooked lumpia. She hands it to me in minutes, well usually it's burning the hair off my arm. I say " is this cooked " she says yes. I open it up, it's all burnt to a crisp and ice cold, I pulled 6 right out and laid them on top. She just looked at me. I tell her " no one is going to eat this " she takes it out of my hand and says " ok we cook you some ". I understand it's close to closing but you really think it's ok to pass of your defects and burnt food to a customer. Guess they never heard of secret shoppers.
Amazing chicken adobo, lumpia, pancit. Pepperoni bread is delicious. They also have a nice selection of packaged baked goods inside. Not much seating, but most people take the food to-go. They do catering as well.
The pandesal is great with jelly or even with butter.
A friend introduced me to this place. Delicious.
Great food. Been going there more than 20 years. Never been disappointed!
Great lumpier and pancit service not so good
I have been coming to Glory's since I was a kid, so almost 20 years. I drive out of my way to get their pepperoni breads, pandesal, monay, and ensemada. Everything is good here!!
I will say, though, there is a lady with star tattoos on her neck who should not be in the service industry: she makes it seem like servicing customers is a huge inconvenience for her. I don't think she's the owner or manager because I would have seen her through the years. Language barrier is no excuse for poor service. My mother is Filipina, and she never uses/used her accent as a crutch.
Other than that I love this place and I will continue to give them my money. 😊
The employees are rude, inconsiderate, and down right unhelpful. The food is fine but it isn't worth the horrible employees you will have to talk to.
My family loves the lumpia. When visiting the area we purchase lumpia to take back to NC.
My mom took me here when I was a little kid and now I'm bringing my own brood. Glory's has the best Filipino food in town and the price is extremely reasonable. I grew up learning how to cook alot of these dishes and remember sitting around the kitchen table on Saturdays with my mom's friends rolling Lumpia great memories.
The absolute best pancit, lumpia, and pepperoni bread!!! Yes, they are a little on the expensive side but everything comes out fresh and delicious, even their pastries and pandesal are really good
I have been buying the pepperoni bread at the Woods Corner location for many years. My most recent purchase of pepperoni bread and pancit was yesterday. As normal, it was fantastic! We've had it for graduation and birthday celebrations too. I have never been treated badly in the store as some people have reviewed. The food has always been delicious.
For those reading these reviews and forming a negative opinion because of some of the 1 star reviews: Please consider that perhaps the language barrier may make some of the employees seem rude. I think that when they are unexpectedly busy, or if someone is sick, individuals who normally work only in the kitchen have to take orders and run the register and being out of their comfort zone may make it worse. For the person who asked about the food item being good the next day - the employee was bluntly honest, though not at all tactful. I'd rather have an honest and even abrupt answer than purchase food for a party and end up disappointed. I'm not making excuses for them, I have no reason to, but please consider that you are probably not talking to someone whose native language is English, and they may also be misunderstanding you!
