Guiding Philosophy:
1) Development must empower people by encouraging personal development, improving accessibility to quality housing, and encouraging community participation.
2) Development must improve upon and diversify the existing quality of life while cultivating the existing culture. Not only must development better the quality of life; it must simultaneously increase accessibility for all residents to partake in all of the amenities of a given place.
3) Development must increase the environmental efficiency of the built environment and better the performance of existing infrastructure by harnessing natural resources through the development process using proven sustainable technologies.
4) Development must be based within an inclusionary framework that will seamlessly weave historically under-served and marginalized communities into the greater urban fabric by promoting diverse-uses, mixed income and multi-modal transportation communities.
5) Development must equitably infuse the financial and holistic benefits back into local communities for the benefit of local businesses and residents.
