Beautiful, peaceful place. I did not know Bellingham had this little gem. Wonderful way to spend the afternoon learning about the history and all the hard work put here. Highly recommend it.

Very pretty and isolated, unique setting. Requires a bit of uphill walking. The place could benefit by adding some kind of shuttle so more families could endure the walk.

Glen Echo Gardens is delightful. Dick, the owner is a very nice guy who will tell you about the history of the property and will likely play a song for you on his pan flute. The gardens are well maintained and very pretty, down in a wooded valley with steep sides it still managed to get a good amount of sun. The gardens are mostly old school American style, many annual flowers, some manmade streams with little bridges and wrought iron arches marking entrances and exits. There is also a lovely moss and fern trail as well as a short native species trail through the woods. I would definitely recommend visiting if you get the chance.

This place was amazing! Such a little treasure up here in Bellingham. The gardens are all taken care of by what seems like an army of people but is actually only done by the owner and two other gardeners. There's lots of wildlife and is overall a very peaceful place to visit. On top of that, if you're lucky, the owner might even play a song for you on the pan flute. Wonderful experience with lots of history behind the gardens. Dick, the owner, is also a pleasure to talk to. Would definitely visit again!
