Terrible experience. Our server seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by our very existence. We waited over an hour for our food, and during that time our server never came by to apologize or attempt to explain the delay. When we inquired she rolled her eyes and said that they were busy. When we asked to speak to the manager she was similarly disinterested in hearing about our experience. The food was good, but I can go many places and get good food without the wait, or the attitude. The server made sure to send us off with two nasty, sarcastic comments. Unacceptable.

My experience at this restaurant was positive. I did see the menu and I thought it was pricey but then I lucked out and found that everything was half off. I sat at the bar as I am a single guy (roofer) . I was not dressed very nice but none the less I was treated very well. I have heard from so many people that this restaurant is good. I would have to say the food I had was indeed good and tasty. I ordered a Capellini Putenesca and it was full of very fresh olives, basil, garlic and the pasta was perfect. My vote on this restaurant is a Four Star. I wish you all the best experience when you try this place. It worked for me.

My wife and I go to Giamano's all the time. We have always had wonderful meals. We have brought friends who have also enjoyed the food. I highly recommend a visit if you are in that part of the Jersey Shore.

Worst dining experience ever! After waiting over 2 hours for our meal with no explanation as to the delay, our dinners were served to another table near ours. The other patrons sat with our dinners in front of them for quite some time before they were able to get the attention of the most inept waitress I have ever experienced. Giamano's then insisted on delivering the meals to us, although I told them I was not interested in receiving a meal that sat in front of another patron. In addition, they refused to compensate us in any way, insisting that they had prepared new dinners in the record time of 2 minutes. I was disgusted. With all the great restaurants in the area, there is no need to subject yourself to Giamano's. Don't waste your time or money.

We were seated as per our reservation, at 7 PM this past Saturday night. We ordered drinks. My friends Bloody Mary arrived and the color was a tanish brown instead of red. When she took a sip, she realized there was far too much horse radish and not enough tomato juice and sent it back. The waitress returned and said they were out of tomato juice! Why serve it in the first place? Two of us ordered salads which took about 45 minutes to be served. Within 2 minutes our meals arrived. The 2 salad eaters sent their meals back because they barely had time to start their salads. My friends penne w/vodka was sub par and my mahi-mahi special was dry and tasteless. When I complained to the waitress she returned with the owner/manager who told me, quite rudely, that it's swimming in butter it must taste good! At that point the salad eaters refused the meals they had sent back, we paid for what we consumed and left. Needless to say, NEVER AGAIN!!
