  Wow, about time. Finally, a site that addresses some the of the most common health issues that are facing our seniors. The site is easy to navigate and the information is absolutely relevant. This site will hopefully help to keep more seniors in their homes longer.

  Geriatric Academy’s online courses are an exceptional credible source for those of us charged with the responsibility of caregiver. Dr. Nathan offers education and recommendations for how to get the best possible outcomes while navigating the healthcare system. This is high-level quality information, not the dumbed down and inaccurate information often found on free internet sources. What could be more precious than my mother’s care? Dr. Nathan’s information has offered me insight and confidence to do my best for the person who raised me.

  Geriatric Academy has been so beneficial to me. The website is the home to eBooks and online courses that gave me the confidence to engage with my aging mother’s health care providers to address her health issues and her safety. The material is geared toward the lay person but provides a depth of education that empowers the person reading the eBooks and/or participating in the online courses that is nearly impossible to replicate. Even though I was not able to work one on one with Dr. Nathan, his counsel and wisdom in these materials is invaluable. If you are seeking for materials that will best assist you or an aging loved one getting the best care, look no further. The tools you need to do that are found on this website. Working though these courses and eBooks will provide you with the skills you need, to be the best advocate for your health or for a loved one’s health.

  Dr. Nathan’s Geriatric Academy website offers both ebooks and online courses that will help us older Americans and their families or friends to access one site for referral to both a comprehensive resource on aging and the challenges of managing medication use in the elderly and short ebooks that will assist you to understand the biological and physical changes we experience as we get older.
  His worksheets are great tools to utilize when we are confronted with understanding all of the challenges we face with managing medications and the questions that may arise when consulting with providers that may be caring for us or our elderly loved ones.
  Dr.Nathan’s website frees us from going to a brick and mortar office since all of his tools are available on line as a digital products. Also, his resources do not force us to use a consultation for any additional information or questions we may have since he does not offer them as part of his business.
  I was especially impressed with the variety of common topics that we all discuss now that we are elderly, like sleep patterns, dementia, cognitive decline and how to discuss these more intelligently when needed.
  I also was impressed with his team (Dr. Markus and Dr.Warner) on their additional insights on the tests used and the depth of explanations of sleep issues that they offered in the e-courses.
  I would strongly suggest subscribing to his resources, so that your knowledge and understanding of dementia, geriatric physiology, drug therapy management will give you the tools needed when faced with the issues of aging.
