Wonderful details of Georgia O'Keefe's life are featured throughout along with many of her artworks. The 15 minute film is definitely worth watching. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It closes at 5 and crowds were lighter from 4-5 on a Saturday. An hour to hour and a half is sufficient.

It was truly inspiring being able to walk through and learn her life story through her art work. I’d learned about plenty of artists through my education and remembered her name, but I didn’t know how genuinely unique and inspiring she was. She was an amazing lady. Worth every penny even though there isn’t a large amount of her art work displayed here.

A must see for anyone who likes O'Keeffe and/or her art. Museum is well designed and the museum's phone app adds to the experience. Though I knew a lot about O'Keeffe before or visit, I learned new and interesting things about her. And the art was, of course, beautiful.

What an amazing woman. Georgia didn't let anybody tell her what to do. Beautiful abstract art. Very family friendly museum. Wheelchair accessible. You can take pictures of most of the art however there are some paintings that aren't allowed to be photographed.

In two hours to you can see it all. Very manageable. She was a wonder. The app guided tour takes a second to sync with the actual pics in the museum. Maybe it was me, but Without hesitation you want to see this wonder and how she practiced her brilliance despite many period-related challenges.

We had a nice time, and free admission, to boot. The museum is very well laid out and lighted. I recommend watching the video prior to touring the museum. In the room where the video is shown there is a timeline on the walls that shows not only Ms. O'Keefe's important dates, but corresponds them to important events going on in the world at those times. The museum is not always free. Contact them to find dates for free admission.

This museum doesn't have any of her most famous works; it's mostly early work, sketches, and other pieces I hadn't seen before. But if you're ok with that, it's still awesome. Some of the pieces just made me weep, they are so deeply suffused with a rare spiritual sensuality. I was very moved.

Master artist O'Keeffe's works can be enjoyed at one's leisure or haste depending on one's time availability. A short film gives a brief overview of her life. Informative. The art exhibited is from the various stages of her artistic life. There is a visual timeline on 3 walls of the movie room. A museum not to be missed by an O'KEEFFE appreciator.

I have liked Okeefe since I first discovered her art many years ago but I am surely disappointed with the museum. Her best works are not on display and I feel there's a lot of wasted space. My biggest criticism though are the security detail. There were not more than a dozen people in the gallery but I counted 8 security people. Every time I stopped to enjoy the art there was a security person practically breathing down my neck! It took all the enjoyment out of the visit and I thought about asking for my money back. They should have a state of the art surveillance system with most of the security detail watching from a back room instead of intimidating patrons.

A nice overview of her life and work. It is a museum, after all, not a gallery. I especially loved the selected photographs taken by her husband and friends over the years. There is a decent, brief documentary. 4 stars due to the low size-to-cost ratio, but still a nice experience. I had little familiarity with Georgia O'Keeffe prior to my visit.

The museum is clean and air conditioned. I was disappointed that it did not feature many of her flower or animal skull pieces. There was biographical information and many photos of her. They also had some of her art supplies and sketches. The video about her life was very good. I'm not especially a fan of her work, so it was not my favorite museum. Plus, I think it is a little expensive for the size of the place.
Overall, I think it would be great for an O'Keefe fan, but just OK for the average Joe.response / report this review -

This museum is great and has a ton of information about Georgia O'Keeffe if you want to learn more about her and her life. Plus, all of the museum workers are super nice and helpful. The museum also has an app that you can download for free that has a free tour that you can listen to or read along with as you go through the museum. The museum also has free lockers amd coat racks that you can store your things in so you don't have to carry it around the museum. It's also good to know that your ticket can be used for readmission all day on the date your ticket was purchased meaning you can take a lunch break or explore the nearby plaza.

This was cool to walk around, it was a lot smaller on the inside than I anticipated from seeing it on the street. Really doesn't take long to get through it. I didn't feel like there were very many 'iconic' images there, just a couple of the type O'Keeffe is well known for. There was a lot more of her history and life than well-known pieces. All in all, worth stopping by though.
