  The dirt is so stinky! I live near gem dirt and I can’t go outside, especially in the evening because of the pungent odor! I don’t know what could be done about this but it’s definitely an odor nuisance. I contacted the company and they were quite rude in their response.

  I was disappointed, I got a load a couple years ago that was amazing!!! Full of compost and worms which tells me it was great quality! This year, it seems to be clay like, no worms at all and some of my bulbs actually started to rot in it as it was not draining water.

  Garden mix is almost completely clay. Ordered 9 cubit yards in September to prepare for a massive garden this Spring. Well, its Spring and as I'm putting seedlings in the ground I can't describe how furious I am to find every bed full of clay. I basically have to start over. Gem Dirt is trash.

  Ordered 2 loads of sandy loam that ended up being mostly clay. On top of that the first truck completely demolished our mailbox and after multiple tries to get them to make it right they have done nothing. Go elsewhere!

  Showed up on time in the cutest little green dump truck. Ordered pine mulch. Driver was friendly and professional! I’m using the mulch for temporary parking.
