Rules in the studio:
1. No drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol in the bedroom studio. (dont get shitfaced drunk off of 30 beers is what im going at.)
2. Your time is your money when recording vocal overdubs on a cover track. to save you time and money have the stem files or instrumental track ready.
3. do not bring your family, pets, aunts, uncles, girlfriends, etc. only the band members may be in the bedroom studio to save time and keep distraction to a minimum.
4. Know your parts before you come to the studio. do not waste my time with half written songs. ill kick you out.
5. Fresh strings are encouraged for best sound. please change your strings. that means you too, bassists.
6. Do not take suggestions to heart when it comes to ideas for parts of the song. the song is yours and will be recorded the way you want it. but there may be a time when the engineer has an idea that everyone in the band will love. remember, transparency.
7. please please please be able to follow and play along to a metronome. the best engineers in the world cannot make even decent quality songs with out of sync/off time tracks. i suggest playing each part of the song with a metronome.
8. 8 o'clock PM is closing time. if youre done you part, pack your stuff up afterwards instead of waiting til 8 to pack everything up. theres a $5 charge for every 10min past 8pm that it takes for you guys to pack up to enforce this rule.

other than that if everyone comes in, plays nicely and everything runs smooth, you will have your song sent to you in a weeks time assuming its paid for as stated above. hope to see you guys soon.
