Jack Gaulden, a craftsman and master stone cutter, at the urging of his wife Charlotte, set out to form Gaulden Monuments Inc. in 1961. From those humble beginnings Gaulden Monuments has grown to include four locations, each with a local connection to their community.
For over fifty years we have proudly served the Carolinas as a third generation of the Gaulden family now continues in that tradition, personally involved in every step from designing and engraving to installation of every memorial we create. We haven’t forgotten our humble beginnings and cling to those values which set us apart, drawing on the wisdom gained from previous generations and forging ahead in innovative ways.
Through every step of the memorial process you will be cared for. With our family owned and family run feel we will help you determine what type of memorial you need, guide you through choosing a design that reflects the life of your loved one, being with you step by step to the placement of your memorial.
We're here to help you, answering any questions you may have and making this decision as easy on you as we can. We believe healing is gained from creating a personal memorial for the ones we love.
We are experienced in all aspects of monument care, cemetery engraving and maintenance. You may call or email with any questions. We will be glad to give you our recommendation along with upfront pricing.

It was the greatest honor to be allowed to help this family with their memorial. It is great to see Doty's memory live on as his memorial is recognized by the Monument Builders of North America for it's design and beauty.
