If the poweroutlets aren't working do check the cabling behind the seats. Apparently people do pull out the plug from the main socket just to charge directly from there.

The only consumer power outlets I found are a set of four chairs across from this gate. They have lots of 3 prong & USB power. Don't be shy; ask to plug in & share if there are ppl sitting there.

Between K9-K12 there are a few food options including Wolfgang Puck Express, Brioche Doree (hot/cold sandwiches), Starbucks and McDonald's

Wall outlets are few and far between, located on the inside wall with the tile floor.

Gate K12 isn't as close as you think it is. It's well past gate K10, past the AA Rebooking Center, past Wolfgang Puck's, and very nearly at the end of the terminal. Plan accordingly.
