  The staff and teachers at Garden State Music Center have been nothing but kind to me every time I walk in for my lessons and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. They answered a few of my guitar questions and helped clarified anything else that I needed assistance with. My main problem is with the guitar teacher himself. As someone getting into guitar late in life, almost every single week I'm stuck waiting around for my guitar teacher because he's late. Furthermore, there were times when I've noticed that time was cut from my half hour class and while I said it was okay, it started getting repetitive and irritating. He's a great teacher and a great guy but needs to work on being more professional because sometimes I felt like that he didn't care, and because he didn't care, it reflected on if I wanted to practice or not.
  
  I'll be following my guitar journey elsewhere because I don't want to give up yet.

  Great customer service, great price. I came in to get guitar strap buttons installed on my autoharp. They were very nice and did it in a timely manner, only charging me for the cost of the materials. 10/10 would go there again.

  I have been going to Garden State Music for over 15 years and have always experienced top notch service. Their inventory is always high quality and inventory maintenance is second to none. I pick up a guitar and its set up and in tune! Their student orchestral instrument selection is fantastic as well. I highly recommend using this store for your musical needs of any kind!

  Great Experience
  I had a terrific experience at Garden State Music purchasing a guitar. The Associate Lisa was cordial and informative and the atmosphere in the store was very pleasant. Zach was very polite and helpful too. A healthy array of instruments and accessories and I found an instrument that fits my taste more than when I traveled far to Guitar Center and Sam Ash. There were a couple of guitar set up issues which they courteously and professionally attended to also. I highly endorse this music store.

  Lisa is an awful person who won't take back my instrument a week a few weeks after I rented because I was looking to buy a professional saxophone

  Great music store. Excellent selection of instruments and top notch lessons. Have purchased new and used instruments (saxophones and trumpets). They also have done numerous repairs, always professional and reasonably priced. Great staff also!
