  Nice hotel. Only four stars because of the visible wear-and-tear and necessary repairs to the hotel. Considering I work in construction, others might not notice the same issues as me. Also could tell that the construction was of lesser quality.

  I've stayed here so many times. I've also stayed at the Courtyard down the road, closer to all the shops in Rio, and much cheaper. The Courtyard is better, it just doesn't have a conceirge lounge...
  
  This hotel over charges for rooms that aren't even as nice as the Courtyard rooms. Save your money, have a better time, choose the Courtyard.

  I stay at the Marriott Washingtonian quite frequently as it is the preferred hotel for my work travel. The staff are always very friendly and checking in and out is very efficient. The hotel is very clean - this includes the rooms as well as other facilities like the gym.One of the best things about this hotel is the proximity to the RIO Washingtonian center. It provides many shopping and dining choices within walking distance. If you are interested in sight seeing in DC, the hotel is a quick ride to the Shady Grove Metro which takes you to central DC in about 40 mins.

  This hotel is located on the water front with nice. and friendly staff. There is a bar/ restaurant at the lobby fit for a casual group meetings. If you are conscious about price and wants to stay at Marriott chain, compare the price between this hotel and Courtyard by Marriott at Gaithersburg. They are literary $100.

  Stayed at this property for 4 days for work. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff very courteous and pleasant. Very customer friendly, superior customer service. Great views from the room, nicely situated on water. Close to lots of dining and shopping. The managers were very accommodating. Highly recommend this location and will definitely stay here again.

  My stay here was very nice. The room was big, clean, the service was good, front desk was accommodating and I would recommend and will be back. The surrounding area is convenient and lot of things within walking distance. Naomi K helped me several times , she is amazing at her job and takes a lot of pride in what she does.

  Stayed overnight for a work event. Nice lakefront view, comfortable room. The events were spread out across two different ballrooms. Cocktail hour, dinner, breakfast, lunch were all decent - no complaints all around.

  Love this hotel. Had a great experience with my stay, all the staff was friendly. Breakfast room service was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

  I had a really nice stay there with my family. There were soeme nice restaurants within walking distance. The room itself was pretty nice. It was clean. My only complaint was the room got really hot and we couldn't figure how to get the room cooler. But I would stay there again and I would recommend.

  I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. The property was clean,the location was perfect, the staff was friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and the view was great, overlooking a small lake. There's no pool here which my son hated, but there's activities for the kids such as paddle boats, playground, carousel, and a train ride. I would choose this hotel again, the restaurant in the hotel called The Bench, the food was Good!

  My two day stay at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center was very good. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bar/restaurant was quite busy with an upbeat vibe. Room service was quick; however, the food was subpar and a tad overpriced. I would recommend to any fellow business Traveller.

  Loved the location. Hated the super slow elevators and the no stairs rule. The bed I slept in needs to be replaced as I always rolled toward the middle. My husband said he had a great sleep where I did not. The room was too small for 5 people.

  Have stayed here several times. Great scenic location on small lake with several restaurants nearby. Usually WIFI is great. This time it was definitely slow to connect (and at times impossible). Staff is great - very friendly and service oriented.

  Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was always available and attentive. Hotel is located next to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Will stay here again when in the area.
