    Froehlich's is basically the best.

I first discovered them at the Chesterton European Market. They were selling phenomenal jams (strawberry rhubarb is the best, but they're all very good).

Then I realized they had a store in Three Oaks and I was over the moon, but I had no idea they offered so much more!

The best is their baked goods. They offer tasty creations that look like they come from an upscale bakery in a big city. The menu changes, but I've never been disappointed with the selection of fresh baked goods.

They also sell some frozen meals you can cook in the oven, very good.

They have a wide variety of salsas, sauces, and spice mixes and there are even recipes to go with them in case you're not sure how you would use them the best. I haven't tried any of the savory items, but they have a caramel bourbon sauce to die for.

There are also a number of trendy (and somewhat less trendy) items in the store. Those get changed up a lot, so if you see something you want -
    snatch it up!

There's outdoor seating and maybe a couple of tables inside, but I usually take my delectable eatables home or eat them on the way.

They offer catering for the holidays or you can placed orders for bake goods whenever. I bought some amazing egg nog filled donuts and a holiday stollen.

You should absolutely follow them on facebook, they're very active and you'll find out about all kinds of delicious foods they make, what markets they'll be at, and even fun stuff happening around Three Oaks.

Bought a cherry pie at the skips farmers market for my husbands birthday. Crust and flavor were absolutely delicious, but it had a layer of undercooked tapioca in the filling. Called the store to find out if it's supposed to be like that or if it was a mistake, and was told they do that to all of their pies to give it a little crunch. Unfortunately we won't be buying pies here again because we are not a fan of the crunchy tapioca pearls 😩everything else I've tried there has been very good.

It was okay. Maybe I was expecting too much.

$5.40 for a grilled cheese sandwich and nearly $9 for a sandwich with paper thin tomatoes clearly from the end (picture) is excessive even in FiDi, let alone Three Oaks. Add to that the 20 minute wait for my food, it boils down to me probably never going back.

The flavors were good, but the ridiculously slow service and exorbitant prices will keep me away.

    Oh well. Lesson learned.

One of the greatest places in Harbor Country. Great breakfast and lunch food. And a ton of great truly homemade food to go from preserves, soups, breads & pastries, plus fun cards,Nick naks

Did have good service when taking our order. The food preparation was slow. It was crowded. Took our breakfast burritos and sandwich to a park to eat. Small servings for the price. My vegetarian burrito tasted like unflavored mush. Did not finish it. My husband's sandwich was also awful. No need to return.

This place has great options! Lots and lots of fresh food and tons of bread choices. Watch out around Thanksgiving when they do the Ultimate Turkey Bread which uses stuffing as an ingredientthe stuff is fantastic! I've always loved anything I've tried here and the staff is incredibly friendly. For me, the one negative is that there aren't great organic options. But I like this place a lot!

Incredible breakfast sandwiches and delectable desserts. Phenomenal cheesecake as well as carrot cake (with a layer of pineapple).

Food was good, but the price wasn't worth it. $4.75 was way too much for that small fruit smoothie, and I saw them using a microwave on my food, which was an egg croissant. Tasted good, but it was squishy and moist as microwaves usually do to food.
Also, the decor looked nice and reminded me of a French cafe I went to in France, but the rendition here was very impractical since the tables were much too close together. A group of older patrons tried to sit at the table by mine, but could barely fit.
