One of the best meals I've had on St Pete. The waiter was friendly and they even gave my mom a free dessert for her bday. It's missing a few nuances of fine dining if you sit outside but the food makes up for it. My lemon drop martini was a disappointment and for $10 you think they'd use a better vodka. That kept me from having another. The NY strip steak was large and perfectly cooked. The hand made fries were tasty and crisp and the blackened salmon carbonata was cooked to perfection. One odd thing is that when they bring the electronic check, the tip suggestion starts at 20% and it's a challenge to modify it if you don't want to leave their suggested option.

I want to love this place as it is right on the water!! For cocktails, it's lovely -- you can sit and look at all of the sail boats. Also, the only public boating slips are right next to the restaurant, so it's very convenient. Food is a bit pricey and not always worth it. thus the three stars. Service is solid and the waitstaff friendly. Bar service definitely gives preference to the regulars, and there are quite a few of those!

This is a great place to pull the boat up for lunch. There is boat parking one dollar per hour. They have great food. There is a big deck with views of the marina. From the restaurant you are walking distance from lots of bars and great nightlife.

Nice food and presentation, quick and friendly service. Not a fine dining, but a perfect place for casual eats and drinks on the water. Major (but only) downside was the birds that were quite literally hovering our table for food. One of them even grabbed my hair when flying above me. I do feel that the restaurant could do something about it.

Not a bad place locally, to enjoy a meal near the harbor/marina. Good selection of varying foods. Staff is usually pretty accommodating and friendly. The prices have gone up quite a bit, but overall the presentation, portions and quality of the meals is reasonably good! It's definitely better than your average touristy-beachside-dive (bar & grill).

The picture says it all. Fresco's i s a fun, local favorite, right on the yacht harbor. We drive 45 minutes for a weekend dinner but mostly for the experience. There is a great local band and simply, good food. A perfect place to watch the day slide into evening

We only come up once a year from fort Lauderdale, but make sure to come to Frescos every time. Mike gave excellent service with a smile, the food is always very good and the lobster bisque is awesome.

The best thing they got going for this place is the view of the water. Food is just the average the day I was there the service sucked. They will make plenty of money when the snowbirds come down but locals know better.

Food presentation, taste 4-5. Server was good and food came out quickly. Really should have been an easy 4 or 5. The reason we rate low is atmosphere. If it wasn't for the fact it's next to the marina, this place would be a dive. Many tables full, mostly couples and families and they still had head banger music onreally. Next visit to St. Pete for dining, will not be there.

LOVE this place. Tried them 1st with takeout. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Fish sandwich and the fish tacos are yummy. Good size portions. Just had lunch there today and the food was fantastic and our server was awesome!

    Horrible, horrible, horrible

Ordered a boneless chicken sandwich. There was a bone it. Choked on it. Spit it out. Brought it to the waitresses attention. She apologized but really didn't do anything about it. We asked to order something else. With no meat. We were leery of meat at this point. Asked to order the kids cheese pizza, was told we would have to pay the full price, not the kids price. Waitress said there was no other way to do it. HOWEVER, we had 3 kids and only 2 ordered off the kids menu. So why couldn't we order the kids pizza?! We asked to speak to the manager. 5+ minutes later the manager comes out, it was NOT busy, why the delay???
Seemed that the waitress had told him of the situation, he apologized then proceeded to say that it was NORMAL the find bones in the boneless chicken, wth???
He agreed to give us the pizza at the kids price.
After another delay we received our pizza.
We really just wanted to pay and leave at this point. This was a dinner for our Mother for Mother's Day. What an epic fail.
After having to ask the waitress for the check, she finally brought it out and informed us that we didn't have to pay for either meal. I surely hoped not!
Poor customer service from management down.

I sail into Fresco's often with small and larger groups of friends, family, students because it's a pretty, outdoor, waterfront setting and has public docks next door (see note below). Food of all categories is excellent and reasonably priced (love the bisque and splitting appetizers, but everything is good). One caution service staff there appears to have a high turnover, so be sure the host/hostess and your server knows your expectations. Viewing Fresco's other reviews, I feel we have been a little lucky with consistently good experiences, but we know restauranting is a tough biz and feel our engaging our servers and getting involved in the success of our experience there has paid off well. Everyone always has a good time!

NOTE: If you're coming to the restaurant by boat and there's no close, public slip available, a polite call to the Harbor Master can still get you in with just a short walk from a transient dock.

This place is centrally located in St Pete, right by the water, beautiful view. Awesome bar and place to grab a bite. I ordered the chicken spring rolls with tai sauce and they were truly the best I have EVER had!! I would go back to St Pete just for those - they were that delicious! I would highly recommend checking out 👍🏻

Disappointed. First time eating at Fresco's on evening of 3-15-17 . Relative in town and we wanted a water view but weather was cold so we dined inside. No ambiance whatsoever, no decor, boring atmosphere. Had to ask for bread. Ordered sirloin medium well; it was cooked well done. Flavor was bland and tasted more like a steak that a diner would serve. Very small serving of mashed potatoes. Service was good; wasn't busy because of cold weather. I may return for the outside experience but definitely would not sit in that ugly room again. Seriouslyadd some paintings or wall decor and hanging plantsgive it personality - this is downtown St. Pete! You've got a lot of competition!
