Freeport is a village in Barry County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 483 at the 2010 census. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the population.There were 177 households of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.5% were married couples living together, 11.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 29.9% were non-families. 19.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.73 and the average family size was 3.19.
