This court is absolutely horrible a warrant for a speeding ticket and then you cant even tell who signed the warrant or what part of the annontated code the law is written for. What a surprise from a trump voting state..no concept of rules or law and how people charged with said law can find out who the elected representatives are that made such law valid. Its okay though ill be stopping by the ohio seantors and house represenatives offices in washington dc to address the problems with your municipal court system on a federal level

WTH..

Woman is on the run for over three years captured by authorities and given a slap on the wrist.

If this was a guy he would be detained no slap on the wrist he would sit to plead guilty or stand trial.

My child's mother has been on the run for a full three years. I have had threats, bodily harm and injury against myself and my daughter.

I got my life together and in order to set a good example for my children while she decided to trick out my oldest son,attempted to groom my daughter into a life of drugs and sex.

I had to jump through hoops to be around my children while she could collect a child support and molest my son anytime.

This is why I fucking hate Ohio.

I hate the people that created the Justice system,child support agency and all that it has to offer.

Which is nothing.

Fuck Ohio; it's a place where people go to die.

magistrate Barrick is the WORST! SO unprofessional and a awful person . Immediately chose favorites not going with who had much more evidence she is unjust. Not to mention she was very unorganized and slow. 0/5 stars if I could rate that low! If you have her, prepare to have a lengthy, unruly confusing legal case and a major headache.

Needed a release of forfeiture faxed to my local BMV and after spending over an hour on the phone waiting to be helped, I was told that first shift went home and there was no one in office who could fax over the above form. It was 4:13 when I was finally able to speak to someone and first shift left at 4 I spent 3 1/2 hours at my local BMV making multiple phone calls and still have received no help. Was told to call in tomorrow at 7:45 to speak to a first shift employee so that they could fax to me what I needed. If you are answering phones, you should be able to put me on hold long enough to send a simple fax. The most ridiculous process I have ever heard of.

I am from Cincinnati area. Where I'm from court is well organized and promptly on time. Well the Franklin county court house is TERRIBLY unorganized! The first time I came here my attorney and the prosecutor worked a deal out but somehow forgot to communicate and agree on important details. So a month later I come back -all should be worked out for sure now- I get here twenty minutes late, there are four people in the courtroom audience.. all the court people in the front are just talking to each other and the prosecutor is nowhere to be found? Someone tells me they're going to find him.. this was an hour ago. Then the judge walks out like twenty min ago. Ha I have NEVER seen a court so unprepared in my life.

My case was not heard by a judge, or magistrate But by a cult member, impersonating a judge in the franklin county court of common pleas. I will be contacting the real judgeand Federal law enforcement!

I been to court in Chicago and Houston and this court is terrible. They tell everyone to be at court at 9am but the Judge wont appear until 10. Also they go in alphabetical order instead of first come first served and this is why people are at court for so long. Most of the time you don't get to see a public defender if you don't have your own and the courts could care less. The judges sides with the prosecutors regardless if they have facts or not and they also use a bullying style tactics of getting you to plea(Plea guilty and pay court cost then we dismiss it, if not then jail). No one should have to pay court cost if you aren't the one who set up the court date. Another thing you should notice is that they don't look at the case in detail of what happened, they just look at the charge briefly and look up your record briefly then decide if they want to dismiss it or not. It's like you get no say of your charge. I hope majority of the people inside of their(Judges, magistrates, baliffs, prosecutors) lose their jobs. Also they tell you no cell phones in the court room yet everyone in the government was on their phones. The judge even took a selfie!!!! All of my charges have been dismissed but best believe if I have to step foot in this so called justice center, I am taking them to Federal court!

A total joke and a waste of tax payers money. My ex does nothing that the court says related to child custody and is in total contempt of court. But the judge avoided the entire contempt thing! Actually told me not to say she was in contempt! I was trying to get 50/50 joint custody. I had 3 witnesses, my ex had none. All she had to say was "I don't communicate with my ex", and hand them some emails between us. Well, 8 hrs later it was over. A month or later the decision arrived. One word decision "DISMISSED", that's it, no reasoning or anything else.Total waste of time, my money and tax payers money. No real explanation of anything, just 8 words or less. Judge and Magistrate should be relieved of their positions. Maybe they should call it "Fathers always lose court". A whole day, lots of explanations. No justice for dads. So what I have is 800.00 child support and may not even get to see my daughters because the court does not care! Of course my wife moved the day after the hearing to lock in her child support payments and make it more difficult for me to visit. This decision has already started to ruin my relationship with my two daughters. Don't waste your money on a lawyer, it won't help with these judges. And I told him that child support keeps over withholding child support as on 3 pay months they keep the 3 pay normal amount as "backup payments" just in case! He said talk to them! Yea right! Yea now about 3,000 dollars or so and growing! So much for paying for braces, clothes, glasses etc..So 1st they ruin your relationship with your kids using the standard visitation rule, and then ruin your finances (they continue to over withhold) mom's and dad's should be pissed about the money they are just sitting on is like state fraud.
