Fourth Avenue Merchants was formed in November 2010 and since its inception, we are proud to say that it has grown by leaps and bounds. Starting from scratch as a Home Improvement company, Fourth Avenue has done outstanding work in New Home Construction, Multi-Family Units and Commercial Establishments.

While the focus lies in the area of new buildings and renovations, No job is considered too small. At Fourth Avenue we have worked with minor projects such as bathroom renovations to major complicated project involved with DASNY (Dormitory Authority of the State of New York).

With over 6 years of experience, Fourth Avenue has developed one and two family homes, extensions and dormers, medical facilities such as: Pharmacies, Physical Therapist and Psychiatrist Office. We have extensive experience in Full Demolitions, Excavation and New Foundations, Shoring and Pile Driving, Framing and Windows, Masonry and Concrete Work, Asphalt shingle and Flat roof, Clay Tile and Standing Seam-Dutch Seam Roof.

Fourth Avenue is licensed with New York City as a Home Improvement Contractor, General Contractor - licensed to build one, two and three family new buildings, commercial establishments etc. Fourth Avenue is also licensed with Nassau County as a Home Improvement contractor.

Fourth Avenue is certified with The City of New York as an MBE (Minority Business Enterprise). Fourth Avenue is accepted and approved with MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) as a Prime Contractor under MTA's SBMP (Small Business Mentorship Program).

Fourth Avenue holds EPA 608(a) certification and is universally licensed in Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR). In addition, Fourth Avenue is also certified with New York State as Licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisor. Fourth Avenue also holds OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Safety Training.
