  The best breakfast in town. Yes it is more expensive, but you are paying for the higher quality of food. The service and atmosphere is great, wish they served dinner!

  Four and Twenty Café is located in the middle of Princeton’s downtown shopping district. They are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week. There is a coffee bar and they have specialty drinks. They have a great selection of homemade pastries, pies and confections. They also offer event planning and catering. The owners have done a nice job with the interior. The entire aura of the place is comfortably cozy.
  
  The food here is homemade and locally sourced, which is how it’s supposed to be done people and it shows. The moment you see, smell, and then taste the food you can tell the extra steps that are taken to serve a quality product.
  
  I ordered Biscuits & Gravy, one of my favorite breakfast goodies. The biscuits were the perfect companion for the gravy, just enough texture to stay together but porous enough to sop up the gravy. The gravy is rich and velvety with the refreshing after taste of sage mmm mmm…. The consistency allows it to blanket the biscuits without running off. Thick bold and really really good!
  
  I also ordered a side of hash browns. Well… they aren’t really has browns they are sliced red potatoes with onions that are seasoned and salted perfectly, which is another indication of what is right with Four and Twenty Café.

  This joint is a step above your average everyday breakfast spot, they ascend the average. I can sum it up in one word. SUPERB!

  Food was good and arrived quickly. The coffee was also superb. For a small town cafe I was impressed with the selection and the great tastes offered. Will certainly stop in again next time I'm back

  Good food, great service, good coffee, reasonable prices. Usually closes around 2:00. WiFi.
