It was well maintained and nice, but right off the interstate so loud and bright.

This camping location has a very private feel with plenty of space between sites. Hiking available and a small swimming hole on the brook. A very cute family or solo outing spot

Loved the campground and beautiful trails. It has access to drinking water and well maintained bathrooms. Be sure to take bug spray to defend yourself against the mosquitoes in the summer.

Nice local state park. A few good hikes with beautiful views. Big enough so it's fun to explore, but small enough to make it a safe and simple day trip. Camping is also available if a longer stay it's what your looking for.

Nice park with a view of the CT River and several short but pretty trails. Take broadbrook trail, ends at the beautiful broad brook and in summer, if adventurous, you can swim in the cold clear water.
