Designed by pro-skateboarders, this 16,000 square-foot skatepark was created for the 2010 Maloof Money Cup skateboarding competition and features elements from popular skateparks throughout NYC

Best skate park I've been to in NYC so far. I've been to LES But it has nothing on Flushing Meadows!

This skate park features stairs, jumps and railings. The skate park features elements from some of the most popular skateboarding site around the city including Union Square Park and Brooklyn Banks.

In 2010, pro-skater Rodney Torres, born & raised in Queens, designed a custom skateboard for the Queens Museum (on view in 2nd fl). Torres was responsible for the design & build of Maloof Skate Park.

It really is a chill spot, the Maloof contest was really good also. This spot will only get better as promised by Joe Maloof.
