We always like to stop here to kick off our drive to Key West, because this is supposed to be where the Rum Runner was invented (when it was the Holiday Isle Tiki Bar). We get one frozen and one on the rocks. It's a nice place to sit and reset yourself to island time. Limited menu for eating, so this is generally just a drink stop for us. Kind of easy to miss if you aren't looking out for the signs.
Drinks are good, view is amazing, make sure to sit in the chairs down by the dock and relax!
Not sure about bad reviews. I don't drink alcohol but overall its good. If you expect high end restaurant its not for you. But if you enjoy nice view and good food its a perfect place.
We rented boats from this hotel and right after we got back, the hotel security threw us out, after paying $690. There is no respect for people who soen money into this. Do no come here.
When we booked the room we were not notified that half the resort is under construction.
Even with some entire buildings gone, tiki bar closed, and numerous changes around the facility, we are having a great time.
If you enjoy expert level jet skii tours, this is a great place to be! They are good with beginners as well. ( if you can listen and abide by simple rules)
We went through some narrow mangrove trails that were gorgeous, across many bright blue shallow coves, and the guide was very upbeat and helpful.
It might be just good timing but ZERO children and relaxing atmosphere with just a few other couples. Not too crowded.
