They deny me for no reason , very discriminatory against African American applicant , leasing agent told me that I was denied acquiring a lease due to my credit although I had a high credit score they told me that I have to much debt , but contradictory they do not ask for income to weigh your debt to income ratio, I’m a financial analyst and I know for a fact credit score only show your debt , how ever it doesn’t put in consideration your income. Therefore after asking her if I can show my 6 figure income she told me that we do not take proof of income nor pay stub. It’s obviously discriminatory leasing management, they really do not want any other color except for the people that they feel comfortable with and also made me pay $700 of all kind of deposit before they told me I was denied , I had to really express my opinion and the leasing agent with the funny look with glasses finally approve me to refund my entire deposit and application fees , beware my people they are running a scheme and a discriminatory approach against people of color , it looks as they have a quota beware , they will find all kind of excuses to frustrate you, never again , the worst experience ever searching for apparement should be fun since it’s only temporary, I’m not looking to buy a house because don’t want to be tied up to 30 year mortgage and I want to be able to be mobile Incase I get a better opportunity else where , just an overall bad experience, will never record this place because how they approach , asking for insane and substantial amount of $$$ deposit before even having an approval to me sounds like they are really scheming people , never again negative 50 stars just the worst leasing place I’ve ever been and I will report them to the better business bureau on the way they profile and screeen applicants I will never have someone hussle me and try to rip me off to tell me that I was denied , never never again . Only lived here on a sublease for about 3 months before I had to move out due to a small fire in our unit (which was not the apartment's fault). Overall, these apartments are clean and convenient.

Location: Stores, restaurants, and MARTA are all within walking distance. Super Target and plenty of fast food and sit-down restaurants are right next door. Need to go shopping for clothes, outdoor equipment, furniture, pet supplies, etc? Everything is within a mile walk from the apartment! It's like living in a city. Definitely one of the best parts about the apartment.

Staff: Generally friendly and helpful. I had one slightly negative experience over the phone - the staff member replied extremely slowly and in one word answers. However, when I met them at the front office, they were upbeat and friendly. The maintenance requests are usually completed within 1-2 days. We probably had at least 10 requests, and all of them were resolved quickly.

Dog-friendliness: I have a 45 lb dog, and I was very happy with how dog-friendly these apartments are. Most of the residents like dogs and never complain when my dog tries to greet them. The apartment also provides bags to clean up in designated pet areas. This encourages most people to clean up after their pets. The apartment does a good job cleaning and bleaching the sidewalk to get rid of any odors.

Amenities: Great gym, free coffee, free printing, and package lockers (recent addition). The gym has plenty of cardio and strength equipment. It has always been clean during my visits. Next door, in the break room, there is free coffee 24/7 - you might have to bring your own mug though. Next door to that, there is a computer lab where you can print anything you e-mail to yourself. Last but not least, the apartments added package lockers, so there is no need to work around their office hours to pick up your package - it is the most convenient thing!

Price: A bit pricey for the size of the space, but I think the convenience of the location makes up for it.

Parking: There isn't an additional parking fee, and parking for visitors is painless. There is no limit on visitor parking - plenty of garage space (if you want to let them in) and the backend of the Target parking lot are all available to your visitors. I honestly couldn't believe it when they told me my visitors could park in the garage, because many apartments will boot cars in the garage without a parking pass.

Complaints: Complaints are minimal and shouldn't discourage you from checking out the place.
- I personally hate having to use a keyfob to use the elevator to go up (not needed for going down). I see no point in having this feature for security when there are stairs that can be accessed from each floor without keyfobs.
- I wish the exit gates around the apartment building would allow re-entry with a keyfob. It's a pain having to walk around the building to a main entrance after taking my dog out for a late-night potty break.
- The area in the hallway near the trash chute room smells terrible about 80% of the time. It was fine for me, because my unit was pretty far from the trash room, but I feel bad for anyone who ends up with a nearby unit.

My review is based solely on my experience with the leasing staff. I inquired online about a specific unit and made an appointment to come in for a tour. I forgot about the tour and was contacted by a very friendly leasing agent who reminded me of my appointment and told me to come in whenever I get a chance. Cool. When I arrive to the property the tone has immediately changed from friendly and welcoming to stand offish and bothered. Not a single greeting by the leasing agent I previously spoke to even though she was sitting right there. Why the sudden change? Perhaps its due to me being a black woman with my child she assumes Im a struggling single mother? Who knows. Either way Ive rented enough apartments in my life to realize that you get the best treatment BEFORE you sign your lease. If management is rude before you've even filled out an application things will not improve after you're locked into a lease. I decided to cut my losses and rent with another property. These apartments aren't bad but they're not stellar either in price or feature to the point that you have to tolerate bad service.

You will LOVE this place! My wife and I sold our home just over a year ago and rented a much larger apartment with a garage (extra cost) and there were lots of problems that we were not at all comfortable with.
At the Flats, you will discover it is clean (always), secure, quiet, great neighbors, and managed by a super crew! The maintenance technicians are polite, very professional and, responsive (what a concept!).
Throw in covered parking, a calendar of events on the property, a local area that has EVERYTHING you might need to live within walking distance, other spaces for meetings, family events or parties, a great gym, heck, the list can go on and on
By far our best rental property experience ever in the Atlanta area since coming to the south over 30 years ago. You cannot go wrong here. I'm sure I left out many benefits, but we are planning to stay here until retirement its THAT good.

I love when I waste time on a Sunday going to tour a place to find out it's not open once I arrive. Says they're open on the website, even the hours on the door say they're open on Sunday, but after wandering around trying to find the leasing office, a resident says "I don't know why they have those times posted, they've never been open on Sunday" definitely would've been helpful to know prior to wasting gas & time driving there. Please update your website and marketing materials to reflect your real office hours.

We have had a great experience living here. Well constructed, quiet. Wonderful office staff and maintenance crews. Convenient gym. In a fabulous area where we can walk to everything: restaurants, shopping, Perimeter Mall.

I have lived here for about 3 years and plan on renewing again. The management, office ,and maintenance staff are the best by far. They truely care about their residents and they go the extra mile to make you happy. Not only are they friendly but, they are good hearted people. The location is fabulous. Clothes shopping, restaurants, takeout, bars, and super target all within yards. A crunch fitness gym will be opening in the shopping center soon also. This makes me very happy:) This apartment is also super safe. You need a remote to enter the garage, enter the building from the garage, elevators, and all doors. I can truely say that I am not scared that my apartment or car will get broken into. This is a big plus, this is the safest place I have lived in Atlanta. The neighbors here are very friendly also.

Flats at Perimeter Place is a wonderful community! The community and area is very safe, beautiful and a wonderful choice for professionals, students and families. The management and marketing associate staff is very professional and pleasant. The renovated apartment homes are beautiful, spacious and include contemporary fixtures. The mainteance team is very helpful and turn work orders around very quickly. The covered and gate access parking deck is a bonus and truly another reason to ensure safety for all residents. The brand new rooftop is beautiful and offers residents a place to enjoy friends and family. My toddler son and I really enjoy living her. The residents are mostly professionals and very quiet! I feel 100% safe daily and that is very important for my son and I. He and I walk everywhere because our favorite restaurants are in walking distance- Coldstone, Taco Mac, Shane's Rib Shack and The Cheesecake Factory. Thank you Flats!

Don't come here if you are working from home. Because you have no choice of Internet only choice is direct path internet services. Direct path not working most of the time and customer service suck. Month of July alone service interrupted more than 3 or 4 times & direct path will take days to fix it. If you work from home be prepared to go to McDonald's or 24 hr shop to complete your work. Because flats at perimeter don't want to change the crappy direct path Internet provider to a some reliable provider. If rains you will have no internet. Nights no internet if you work on dead lines good luck taking your kids & go to coffee shop at night. Bad deal. If you work from home or work on Internet heavily not a good place to move in.

I love this building. I moved here after a divorce and it was my first time living as a single woman alone - so needless to say, safety was very important to me! I always feel safe here and haven't had a single incident since I moved in almost a year ago.
I agree that the builders did not think through the location of the elevators in this building, but that has nothing to do with the management company, who has always gone out of their way to assist me.
I would definitely recommend this building to my friends. There is a great mix of people: young professionals, singles with dogs, families with young kids and older adults. And you cannot beat the location!
