Walked in and expected bad bar food. I was pleasantly suprised. Got teir Sucktopus Burger, absoulty great! The staff was fun and spunky and the place had a great neigborhood vibe. Pricing was friendly too!

Really interesting decor lots of wrought iron work really good bar and the burger was just right. Great place to kick back after work have a drink and dinner.

I went there yesterday for lunch and ordered chicken sandwich burger and fries. They took over 40 minutes to bring me my food and the restaurant was not busy. Also people who came in after me got their food while I was still waiting. It seems that they do not care for non-white patronize so I advise anyone not white to avoid this place. When it finally arrived it did not look appetizing (probably because the waitress had to tell them to make it after they forgot and it was rushed) and it was not the type of burger I ordered. My entire lunch was wasted waiting on sub par food and being ignored because I was the only person in the establishment that did not look like them. The waitress was the only person who offered good customer service to me.

I ordered black bean and chicken quesadillas I was truly disappointed. The quesadillas were lacking black beans and the chicken tasted as if it came out of a can. This place food service has gone down hill.

The food is eh, it's ok. Service is good though and the drinks are cheap. Since the place has a lack of a real isolated patio, the past few times I've been I couldn't hear the people I was with about 5 feet away because of either loud music from cars or loud motorcycles.

Love the flatiron building, uniquely historic.
Enjoyed 1/2 vegetarian Italian sand with Terra chips at the 1897 cafe.

Sweet baby purple Jesus. They put a fried green tomato on a burger and it was amazing. Imagine a burger so delectable that people would travel from far and wide to wait in a line out the door before tasting it. Imagine a burger so good that it could sell out before dinner time. That's flatiron.

I ordered the suctopuss burger and it was delicious!!!! Cooked to perfection! The portion sizes are definitely worth the price. My friend and I werent able to finish our food and he usually never gets full haha. Staff was super friendly and made sure we were doing fine. Will be back again, thanks Flatiron!!!

One of the hidden gems in the city in terms of food. They have a daily rotating special that is featured on their Instagram account, @flatiron_atl, - always delicious. Plus, the atmosphere is laid back.

Good food, cold beer, and great staff. What else do you need in a neighborhood bar? If you want your food served with a side of pretentious then i suggest you go to the Highlands. But if you're down to earth and work hard for your money; then have a seat at Buddha, share a drink with Bruce Lee, and welcome to your new home away from home. Cheers friends!

Today was our 17th wedding anniversary so my husband said he had been to flatiron several times and it was good so we decided to go here for lunch after church. My husband, cousin and her husband and her 3 sons who are our Godchildren ages14, 16 and 18 decided to go here. My cousins husband and her 3 well behaved sons are black Americans and we are white. (This is relevant to this review). So when we entered the restaurant we were told we could not be served inside because it was a bar/restaurant because the boys were not 21 which I completely understand but we were not told to have a seat at the outside tables instead we were told that there was another place down the street. This was obviously a prejudicial thing. I have lived in Atlanta all my life and with the diversity in this area who would have thought we would have been treated this way. So please don't patronize this establishment. You will be treated horrible and even if your money is green you better make sure your faces are white.
