  Food is superb. A bevy of choices (mainly seafood, but a few non-seafood items too). Service is excellent. Be sure to make a reservation, or you'll wait a long time.

  Best crab cake I've found anywhere in New England, it is a must have anytime I eat here
  
  Friendly wait staff, with good service.
  Kitchen is not the fastest, but everything is always top quality and prepared very well so it's worth it.
  
  I personally recommend the Fisherman's sandwich for a simple but good lunch option!
  Calamari app and mixed seafood grill are always excellent as well.

  Service is awesome, food is meh if you are ordering anything that isn't fried (fried options are pretty great). The buffalo popcorn shrimp sauce tasted suspiciously like Frank's red hot sauce. I mean don't get me wrong, I like Frank's Red Hot, but I just wasn't expecting it in this setting, and over soggy popcorn shrimp with a sweet salsa it was actually kind of gross. The seafood casserole is a little unimpressive... I've had better seafood bakes at other Mass restaurants, for an easier price tag. The only dish we'd order again would be the fried clams. This place did fried clams justice. Other fried items like the fried and calamari are pretty good, even if the marinara sauce that came with it was a little too sweet for our liking.

  Fishbones is a fantastic eatery in downtown Chelmsford. It's in a quaint part of town and looks as though it should be seated on a pier! The atmosphere is eclectic (fun statues, beautiful paintings) with a clean, airy seaside aesthetic. Service was good - a bit slow, but expected, as they were busy. The menu is full of different fish dishes but they also have salads and chicken. Quite pricey, but not unreasonable. I would eat here again!

  If I could give this a 0 rating I would. I walked in with my husband for dinner. Upon walking in, I overheard this beast of a woman swear at one of her employees. I felt terrible for this lovely young girl who this was directed to. I wanted to tell the manager what I heard. Who comes out is the beast who yelled at this young lady, Amy, the manager. We walked out and we will never ever be back again. This beast of a manager should be fired!!! The rest of the staff had no social graces either. Absolutely and completely unprofessional. BIG FAT ZERO

  This place does not ale reservations and at 6 pm there is a very long line. The food is good. Chowder has bacon in it in case you don't like bacon flavor. Seafood saute is nice, fried clams dinner was good, crab cakes tasty. The food is good but not blow away good.

  It was awesome! Had the clam chowder which was delicious. Onion rings were very good. I had the lobster roll which was stuffed with lobster. Friend had the Seafood Saute. Lots of shrimp, scallops, and lobster. Sauce was perfect. Scallops were perfect. Great meal.

  Let me start by saying the food is fabulous! Never got a meal I didn't like. Atmosphere is very cool bright and buzzing with energy though it can get very loud when it's full which is common. The downfalls: drink prices are high and run the bill up quick and the service depends on who you get but there's an older woman behind the bar that is less than a customer service professional and has no sense of urgency, respect, and will ignore you until it suits her to take your order. So patience is a prerequisite. Too bad they pool tips!

  Cannot believe the price increase! Love the Seafood Mediterranean and it was delicious as always, but portion has decreased and price increased.. a side veggie or house salad used to be included....no more...waitress says," most times it was wasted and thrown out so they did away with that". Bread is included, however it was not offered to us until we were almost done our meal, then she never brought it to us at all! If you want a quiet dinner, this is not the place, staff not overly friendly....food is very good, but not plentiful for what you pay.

  My wife and go to Fishbones for all of our birthdays, anniversaries, etc and we are never disappointed with the food. The sea food is all fresh and the portion sizes are perfect. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the staff. On more than one occasion we have had some waitresses truly present themselves in a way that made us feel as though they would've rather had been any where else but there.

  Great seafood with really good service. My only complaint is that the noise level gets bad when the restaurant is full. Too many hard surfaces makes for poor acoustics.

  In town for business trip. Last night visited. Did not disappoint. Nice friendly staff, great atmosphere, good service. Plenty of choices on menu and huge beer and wine list. If I come to town again I will be back for sure!!

  Loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu options were both plentiful and unique, while including the traditional options you'd hope for at a seafood restaurant in New England. Great bottled beer selection, and the Maine steamers were terrific!
