Our focus on quality and outstanding flavor is a family tradition that dates back over 80 years to the kitchen of Grandma “Dolly” Scott who worked tirelessly preparing her legendary Guava Jelly and Guava Cheese for sale in Kingston, Jamaica.

As a result of Grandma Dolly’s efforts, the family business eventually moved into a state of the art manufacturing facility in Twickenham Park, Jamaica where large volumes of Canned Ackees, Canned Callaloo, Hot Pepper Sauces, Jellies, and Juices were manufactured for both the local Jamaican market and the worldwide export market.

Today, the family continues this “Tradition of Excellence” providing premium quality Caribbean products to our customers. Yes, our Caribbean Sunshine Brand of Canned Ackees, Canned Callaloo, Authentic Jamaican Hot Pepper Sauces, and Guava Jelly continue to build on Grandma Dolly’s legacy and can be found in many chain supermarkets, wholesalers, grocery stores, and fine restaurants in the State of Florida and throughout the United States. In addition to expanding our primary Caribbean Sunshine Brand to include authentic Jamaican seasonings, canned peas and beans, canned coconut milk, herbal teas, and baked goods, First World Imports is the distributor of choice for many category leading brands including Walkerswood, Linstead Market Jamaica, Lasco, Caribbean Dreams, Red Label Wine, Anchor Syrups, Easispice, Foska Oats, and Roberts Juices.
