  Ask for a coffee to go after your meal. There coffee is "coffeehouse quality" good, and they have sturdy "to-go" cups, not of the kind most diners give you.

  I'm stating the obvious here but it's crowded on weekends (usually after 9AM). Arrive before 9AM and you won't wait much if at all.
