Very bad experience dealing with the Branch manager and the one of the staff members in Providence. Needed to complete a simple task and it turned into weeks of forms and emails and the task is still not completed. Also the company is very sales oriented by pushing investors into managed accounts and annuities that come with high fees. Fidelity 500 and other low cost high performing funds are never recommended. Fidelity actually terminated my first advisor (a ivy league graduate) who always had my best interest and never recommended a managed account. The second advisor dropped me after one year as I stated I was not interested in a managed account. The third advisor meets with me every so often and constantly attempts to sell me fidelity managed programs and annuities. Make sure you do your homework when dealing with Fidelity.
Do not have the skill sets to help the clients with retirement transactions. Zero assistance but want a big fee to do nothing.
Great customer service. However if you need to cash a check from fidelity " investments" not fidelity bank. There is no bank branch you can walk into and cash the check.
I have had two phone calls with Dane in this office so far. He's fantastic- very patient and explains things over and over (which I need). I appreciate his organized approach and the time spent on educating someone with little knowledge on investments so that I feel empowered to do with my money what I want!
Excellent retirement counselling and assistance at the Providence office. Lots of selections to choose from most are very good and can likely meet anyone's situation. Web site for managing retirement inputs and planning phone support was prompt but no help unless you want to buy something.
I invest with them a lot and they are very trustworthy!
