Amazing atmosphere! A three story, old firehouse, with a rooftop bar! As soon as you walk in, the wood burning stove hits you with an amazing "campfire" feel. The food is amazing, and follows the "smoke" theme. Very cool place. Highly recommend.
Fenton Fire Hall is my favorite place to go in town. Their meats are always top notch and the Mac and Cheese is better here than at the Woodshop even though I believe they share the same owner.
The beer selection is always fantastic and I know I can always find a gose/sour here.
Staff is always prompt and very friendly.
After coming here quite a few times, it's safe to say you won't find much better of a place to eat for the price than here.
I just wish we lived closer!
Very nice decor. Service good. Very limited menu. Had the fall of the bones ribs, which did not fall off. Very difficult to eat and very dry. I only saw two other items on the menu that remotely seem interesting. Very loud, difficult to have a conversation.
An old fire station turned into a restaurant. Beautiful at night all lit up! The mac and cheese is FABULOUS! Very tasty food and nice people in a relaxing atmosphere.
Yesterday was our first time there and good friends of ours rave about this place so we figure we would give it a try. When we walked in we were immediately sat at our table, our waitress came right over and was very helpful and friendly we never once went with our cups being empty throughout our whole meal even had them refilled after we had paid without asking. We ordered fried pickles for our appetizer and I had the wood grilled chicken sandwich while my boyfriend had the 3 alarm burger (very spicy). My french fries were crispy (the way we like them). My chicken sandwich was hot and literally an entire chicken breast. We also split a side of mac n cheese which was also delicious. Our total including our tip was 48 dollars. Overall service, food, and price was phenomenal. Even my leftovers were great the next day. If I had to complain about anything I feel like the lighting was a little dark but that honestly didn't effect my dinner at all. Would highly recommend this place!
Brisket was awesome - tender enough to cut with a fork. My wife thought the hunter burger was phenomenal. All of the sides were great, as well. Service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Overall wonderful experience.
Cool atmosphere. Mac N Cheese was very good! I thought pulled pork was good, but my 16 year old daughter did not. Just a matter of taste. Worth a visit.
They have a great eating environment and great BBQ food. Inside you are able to watch them cook over the giant open oven and there is a large bar. They have seating and a bar on the roof. They have a bar and seating downstairs next to a big window that looks out on some outdoor seating. The restaurant is right next to a park and ice cream.
The food was delicious 😋. We sat downstairs, close to the 40 beers on tap. The place is really cool with just a great vibe. The beer list is extensive and varied. We had the fried pickles (awesome), half a chicken with the Mac and cheese (you can't go wrong with this, it's amazing), and the brownie pot pie (a slice of heaven). Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Definitely a place to enjoy with good friends!
Really good food! Service was great as well as the food! I got the Baby Back Ribs plus a side of Mac & Cheese and fries. They also gave you a cup of their Mayo sauce and it's amazing. Dip your fries in that stuff and you will be amazed! Mac & Cheese was actually not that bad. I love the layer of golden cheese crust that they put on top of it. The ribs didn't really come with a lot of sauce on them though, but there are containers of their homemade BBQ sauce on each table and you can smother your ribs in whatever sauce satisfies you. Great food and will be back again!
Good food, if you're into meat. If not, you'll find limited options. I didn't try the vegetarian white chili, so can't comment on that. As others have noted, it's pretty noisy. In general that wasn't too bothersome, but then someone started and idled his motorcycle right next to the patio where we were eating. Very loud. So, decent food and decent service at $90 for 4 basic meals and no alcohol didn't impress me enough for more than three stars. Meh
Awesome ambience inside and out. Craft beer selection is awesome and food is good. Can't wait to go back when the weather is nice to take advantage of the outdoor seating.
First time here at got a smart ass young waiter that couldn't stop flirting with his table of girls long enough to greet us in a timely manor, food took forever and was not hot. We got up and payed for the iced tea we had and the manager came right over to see what was wrong. We explained the situation and he offered two free meals to come back and try again, I declined since I was so mad at the time, he insisted we give them another chance at another time. So we did, a month later we went back and it was the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time and the food was incredible I gave 5 stars because of my recent visit.
Decent BBQ. I would definitely not expect 4 star food. It is a good spot for drinks if you are on the roof. Otherwise, very noisy.
The waitress was hands down phenomenal. I absolutely admired the atmosphere. I ordered the fish tacos and my girlfriend had the pulled pork sandwich . The food was definitely good however I absolutely feel like it's nothing mind blowing unfortunately. We ordered two different apps as well that I'd say I'd never order or think about again.
