FemSex is a DeCal (student-taught class) at the University of California, Berkeley. We have multiple classes each semester and love building our community through critical dialogue, sharing our lived experiences and experiencing our space together. FemSex welcomes all experiences, identities and voices into our space.
This online space is a way for the past, current and future FemSex community members to communicate about FemSex sponsored events, community events/opportunities and to engage in critical discussion (in a respectful and positive way). We hope y'all enjoy being a part of this space!
This page is representative of the FemSex Program and the University of California, Berkeley. Although we love that there are satellite FemSex programs all over the country and world, we are not formally affiliated with these programs and are not accountable for the actions of other programs.

Students and community members from all walks of life are invited to GenSex’s Birthwork Panel THIS Friday, March 15th, from 6-8pm. Come hear an alternative narrative about childbirth from the perspectives of doulas and midwives involved in the Bay Area birthwork movement. The hospital might seem like the “natural” place to give birth nowadays—but it doesn’t have to be!
Our last infosession for the semester is tonight in 475 Barrows at 7pm!
Are you looking for a 3 unit class? We'll be hosting infosessions for the GenSex DeCal next week! You'll get to meet our facilitators, learn more about the class, and participate in a fun preview workshop!
