  What an amazing place. I've really only come here for my two year old but the amount of activities for young people is amazing. He will play games on the ipads or play games in the activity room. He is a member of the read 1000 books before five. They have a music area and a play kitchen. Books galore. I have checked out their DVD collection as well which had movies but I didn't see any recent TV shows. Highly recommended even if coming for just a short period of time. Also have this amazing pin set which I've only seen at hands on museums.

  The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Several great programs for the family. Excellent selections to choose from that have inspired and renewed my love of literature and movies. I'll be exploring the music section also.

  Great books and internet access. The rooms are available to rent for reasonable fees. Staff very welcoming!

  Excellent collection of books and excellent library. Staff are not friendly if you belong to certain kind of people. Beware of partial treatments and discrimination.

  Spacious. Clean. A ton of study areas. Well lit. Quiet. Common study areas have deceivingly comfy seats. They hurt the back.

  Yep I love libraries in general, but this one is really exceptionally cool!! It is a huge location. They have tons of programs, and a really neat assortment for kids that i noticed, including a homeschool program. They have an auditorium and i went to see a concert for black history month there, it was great. The kids area is in the basement, and it is huge. Lots of cool features, including this music/noise nook. Lots for kids to play with, in addition to the computers which always draws them. And tons of books! One thing i really liked also, was they had a section that was labeled "3rd &4th grade" for chapter books. They really seem to entice people to use the library and to love reading and education!

  The Farmington Hills branch of the Farmington Community Library is no doubt one of the best libraries in the country. Here you will have a quiet place to do work or study. There are numerous computer terminals, periodicals, music, movies and a wonderful children's section on lower level.
