  I was visiting from out of town when taken to this wonderful little shop. We ordered the Sopes, tacos and guacamole. All were delicious! You can also purchase herbs and some vegetables in the shop and they serve wine and beer. Would highly recommend.

  I was REALLY excited about this place and REALLY wanted to like it. I was very disappointed all around. Service was terrible. It was slow (food took 25 minutes after I ordered (burrito), and then my food was cold. The place was dirty. Tables were not cleaned. Bathroom toilet was backed up, and no one was dealing with it. The food was not good at all. My burrito was 3/4 brown rice maybe a tablespoon of avocado in the whole burrito. Very disappointing overall. I have no idea where the good reviews are coming from.

  my daughter loves the Ojai bowel, says it is the best thing in the world. I favor the vegan enchiladas.

  Loved it! Appreciated their emphasis on organics and overall good health. Had the cashew cheese quesadillas. Enjoyed the peaceful environment (mountains in the background) too.

  Food was outstanding however as first time customers the servers weren't friendly or helpful to us rookies who had never been there before. But again the quality of the food was 5 stars.

  Not the best, not the worst.
  
  The salad bar was nicely stocked, and I enjoyed the plate I made. The vegetables were fresh and delicious.
  
  Our cooked dishes looked nice, and tasted all right, but weren't memorable.
  
  I have to say, when I walked in the place had a garbage odor, which might be from composting, but it certainly taints the whole experience. All of the signs are hand-written in a way that isn't folksy, but chaotic. The whole place suffers from feeling too cluttered, and the messy presentation made me worry a bit about food safety.
  
  The best part was the outdoor seating on a warm, sunny day. Lots of interesting characters make their way in and out of the restaurant and store, and it's a good place to people watch.

  Take this review with a grain of salt, as I am neither vegan nor vegetarian. The outdoor patio is what made the experience so great for me. The patio is massive and tastefully designed. The market inside is pretty cool, just expensive. I actually enjoyed all of the food I ate, but just felt unsatisfied (once again, I have no special dietary requirements.) And while I say I was unsatisfied, I don’t see you can make a better all veggie taco. My main issue with my visit was how long it took for the food to arrive. My food arrived 30-40 min after I ordered, which was much longer than I had expected. If I was with someone who really wanted to eat here, I would defiantly come back to try a new dish.
