The pastor is a joke, even the best of people can be lead astray. I've attended three times just to give it a fair chance. 100% correct that only current members (brainwashed- "Get Out") leave 5 star reviews. The women are caddy, childish and will shun other females or anyone that doesn't fall in line with what they have going on in or outside church. They consider it "family" which it could be if they weren't so caught up in church politics and practiced real Christianity instead of the idea of it. I have a Bachelor's degree and currently in seminary school, I found the pastor to be very judgmental, preaching questionable doctrine. He seemed to filling in what he was reading with his own ideas. I understand that homosexuality is not traditional, as well as controversial when it comes to church, but to publicly announce that you will not be performing any same sex marriages when no one is coming to you for your support or your blessing seemed like a performance. Even "IF" someone fit into that category, that announcement would make it virtually impossible for a conversation. He was applauded, but not everyone shares the viewpoint to automatically turn your back, when you don't agree with someone's lifestyle. Turning people away for their sexual preference in a circumstance they feel out of their control, is no more punishable than premarital sex, greed or any other sin which should be treated equally in the eyes of God, isn't a fair call nor is it treated the same. You can show empathy for those seeking answers. The focal point of church and a man in that position is to support and give spiritual guidance to those seeking it, without personal judgement. It is hard, we are are flawed and we are human, however to call yourself a servant of God in a position of power as a pastor comes with the responsibility to step outside of your own experience and in to those seeking you out for guidance and spiritual faith.
This is hands down the worst church I've ever attended. My fiancé at the time had been a long time member and wanted me to consider going so we could go together. I was skeptical due to seeing photos of this pastor on FB next to Seahawks cheerleaders, wearing what cheerleaders wear. I thought it was poor judgement on a pastors part, I wouldn't expect to see a nun next to a half naked man, so the standard should be held universal. I get that it was at a Super Bowl party, but at some point it's necessary to make the distinction for the sake of tact to decide are you a fan first or are you a pastor, you can be a fan without pics with cheerleaders with cameltoe and their breast out, but I gave Faith Heritage a chance when he asked me to go.
The pastor made zero effort to greet me on my first visit, while standing right next to him. After a super long, drawn out four hour service, which did not even remotely start on time, that consisted of more praise and worship than actual sound doctrine. There's nothing wrong with praise and worship, but what about the word? The songs were upbeat, however it felt more like a concert than a church service. Pastor Solomon was unorganized, unprepared and extremely hard to follow. He screamed through most of his sermon and the remainder of the time his words were unintelligible and he would just **Insert Jesus Here** as a filler to scream out when he couldn't find the words.
The female members of the congregation being lead by the "First Lady" the pastors wife as Queen Bee, are very tight to the extreme of acting basic, petty and childish as though they are a high school clique. The mentality of "you can't sit with us" is laughable at best. Who has time for that, yet in order to fit in many follow, just check out their Facebook page. The purpose of leaders from my understanding was to produce more leaders, not followers. There's a distinction in followers of faith and followers for approval. The self-righteousness flows thick with this bunch, the church as a whole was unkind, unforgiving and full of hypocrites standing behind the facade of acceptance to all, love and forgiveness, while judging and disapproving any outsiders or those they don't approve of. The church makes you feel as though it's "their house" you are trying to enter, unwelcoming with something to prove and not a house of God. I'll pass, as this church needs to take several seats and remember to practice what they preach. Beware wolves in sheep's clothing, especially those who write their own reviews. My now husband and I have since found another church. Wishing Faith Heritage many blessings and prayers, but it wasn't for us, others can decide for themselves.
If I could give this less than one star I would, clickish and unwelcoming. I heard good things about it from someone who went there previously and I see why they left. Only people in the inner circle write reviews about how great it is. Completely bias. The pastor OBVIOUSLY doesn't have any theological or seminary background, no pastoral or ministry background, he needs a course on contextual theology that he must have missed from being handed down to him to make him feel that's all he needed to qualify as a pastor. I gave a side eye to some of his preaching. It takes more than reading from a book to lead parishioners and I found his sermon flawed in teaching. He was very hard to understand and he did scream a lot in his preaching. The preacher's wife and the choir in plain clothes, lead most of the first 45 minutes which were song after song. The pastors wife has ZERO credentials to be advising people as they came to her for advice and leadership based on biblical virtues, when she herself lead all of the women who act like school girls that you have to warm up to before you are accepted in. I don't have time for childish games in church or elsewhere. The church is small and are very tight click of people, newcomers are not welcomed in easily. The service ran long didn't start or end on time, like a few churches I've been to before. I would not recommend, nor would I return.
I love this church it so awesome the make you feel welcomed they are helpful
The first time I attended this church, it was a wonderful experience. I had never felt more welcomed at a church before. From the moment I walked in the doors I was greeted by kind and truly genuine people talking to me. I really enjoyed the awesome praise and worship. I especially like that the pastors word came directly from the bible. His sermon was also very easy to follow along with too. I've been going for a while now and I have two young children and they both come home excited about their classes and talk to me about all the things they learn and the fun songs they sing. My 5 year old even memorizes the verses they practice. I would definitely recommend this church to anyone looking for a church home.

This is a very warm church that makes you feel like family and not strangers
