Anthony and his crew were able to get 3 bedrooms and 2 stair cases done for me in a few days. I wanted to match the stain to the pergo I have in other parts of my house. They did excellent work and were fun to work with too. Bonus! They were very knowledgeable about the flooring, staining, floor care, etc. They answered all of my questions graciously. I would use them again.

Fabulous is not an overstatement! Anthony and his team were very conscientious, hardworking and friendly. They treated our home with great respect. And the floors that they brought back to life in a neglected 1850's farmhouse are GORGEOUS! Would recommend to all!!

Sent in a request to have someone give us an estimate on refinishing our kitchen floor since we are doing a kitchen remodel. A few extra pieces of wood would need to be added due to taking down a small wall and no flooring was underneath it. Just received a call back and was told it would be $3.00/sq.ft measure it myself and let him know. WHAT?!! Refused to send anyone out to take a look at the area and what kind of work would need to be done first. Definently not going with them, so unhelpful and clearly uninterested in getting the job!

In this time, it is amazing to actually talk to the person who owns the company. Matt returned my phone calls and said he would personally be at my home to be sure furniture was carefully moved and the job was done right. They arrived on time. A couple challenges were presented for the job but instead of complaining, they figured out how to move furniture and work around the family.
This is the second time I have used Fabulous Floors. The first time was about 8 years ago when I had old dogs who had "accidents" around furniture legs. My floors gleam. I would say that I would have them back again but the floor is durable so absent some old dogs, I don't know that I'll need them!!!
I would definitely recommend Matt and his workers.report this review -

BEWARE! The job was subbed out to two kids. They didn't take necessary precautions and ruined my furniture in the basement. The owner Matt is belligerent, disrespectful, doesn't return calls, and frankly should not own a business. I am taking them to small claims court to recover the cost of my ruined living room furniture. I have also files a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

We have worked with directly with Matt, the owner of Fabulous Floors, and know that he runs an excellent business. He has years of experience with hardwood flooring, but he's also honest, personable and really tries to exceed his customers' expectations.

DO NOT USE THE FABULOUS FLOORS FRANCHISE LOCATED IN MENTOR, OH!!!!! I recently had my hardwood floors sanded down, color changed, and re-finished. Everything started out great. They showed up quickly, gave an estimate professionally, and even had guys planned to come to my house the very next day. I was told the job would take a maximum of 3 days. After 6 days, I was told they were done and to PAY UP before I had a chance to see the results. Being a jaded homeowner, I did NOT pay! I, instead, waited until the floors were dry and I was able to take a look. When I did, I was happy I had not paid! They looked HORRIBLE. There were bubbles EVERYWHERE. I found places where they never even took the time to remove nails and now they were sanded into my floors. There were whole sections were there was not any clear coat! I called the owner to explain my dissatisfaction and he told me how he was just there and they looked "Great!" WHAT!? Were we looking at the same place!? Just cause you say they look good, doesn't meant they are!!! So I fought, and refused to pay until they came back and resolved the issues. They reluctantly did while simultaneously treating me like I was ridiculous, and after 10 days they were FINALLY done! Now that's NOT EVEN the worst part!!!!!
When I went to pay for the floors, I was informed that there was a 6% surcharge for using a CC. Thanks for letting me know in advance!!! So I decided instead to pay by check. I offered to meet the owner, but he asked me to just send it via the mail. I agreed. Needless to say, the USPS dropped the ball here and fabulous floors did not receive my check in a days time like the owner expected. This is when the threatening calls started. I was appalled. I had done nothing wrong, they had done a HORRIBLE job, and now they were calling me and threatening me to pay OR ELSE! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
Needless to say, I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!report this review
