Very slow servicegood food.

I took my friends out to eat for their birthday. It took forever for someone to come get us and sit us. When they sat us down, the hostess said the waiter will be right with us. 15 minutes later the waitress came, got our drinks and placed our order. We never got our drinks. We didn’t get any silverware. We had to get our own silverware from the basket. My friends ordered salads and never received them. We got another waiter to check on our food and they brought it out. It was cold and gross. We stopped the manager on duty and asked for their salads and extra dressing, then our waiter FINALLY came to our table and asked if we needed anything. We asked for our check and left. We have the other waiter a tip, paid for our meal and left.

I have been here many times in the past & have not had any problems that were major & if they were worth bringing to the managers attention they were handled straight away!!
that being said, this time the Hostess was curt & did NOT ask if we wanted to be seated in the bar, we blew it off as her just having a bad day?, the server/ bar maid was nice!! BUT SLOW! took quite a long time to refill drinks. I assume it was the manager that came out after we sat and waited for our food for 45 plus min., he explained & apologized for the delay & told us that the chicken had been overcooked & it would be right out, no problem, I even commented that It couldn't have been my burger that was overcooked because I had told the server to cook it well done!! & even char it!! {I don't want a pink burger}
what seemed like an amount of time that it should have taken for out food to come out originally. here come our food & my well done burger {the server even commented when she put it down, my double cooked burger} was not pink in the middle & taken a few bites to get to the center. it was pink in the first bite!!!!! I spit it into my plate because we were not given!!!! & we left!!
I don't know if there is a new management team? but if there is they need to re-hire the old management team!!!!!!
I will eat there again, or I will try to eat there again?response / report this review -

Awesome food, great service, generous servings. The shrimp and grits, calabash shrimp and all you can it ribs were ALL delicious-and we're from Louisianalol

Service is at it should be, friendly and great. Calabash tenders were great for someone like an out-of-towner lile me to try. Enjoyed the ribs and rolls and the cinnamon butter.

Country style food, which is not my usual fare, but the service was top notch, and the food was surprisingly good. The dinner salad I had was well made and relatively healthy. The restaurant was clean and up to date.

The worst rolls I've ever had! They were greasy and crunchy! We asked for more he said he would bring fresh ones and they came out the same way HARD, CRUNCHY and GREASY! I believe They were deep fried because of the greasy outside! They are supposed to be soft! I've ate them plenty of times to know just not at this location! Sever was great though he even knocked $5 off our bill because my daughter didn't like the tiny grilled shrimp she got. We though it would be jumbo shrimp and it was little baby shrimp. Who grills those anyway!?

Very slow service!!! They were not busy at all. I've been a server for 20+ years and there was no reason why weren't kept in rolls & drinks. We were group of 8 and 6 of our orders were wrong!!! Brought the salads out with meal instead of before. Had to keep asking and asking for rolls and drink refill and waited over an hour on our food. My daughter's hamburger was raw, my meal was wrong and waitress forgot my sides!!!! We all were unhappy and will take our business somewhere else in the future.

Went for mother's dayour wait for a table was less time then the wait for our food! It was over an hour for our food, and then they totally messed up the order and when we had it sent back, what came back out looked horrible and was way too spicy too even eat! The manager had an attitude, you should never tell someone how their food taste, unless you literally tasted it for yourself! My last time going there that's for sure!

Food took 1 hr they told us since it took so long they wanted the food perfect when food finally came out fries was cold an tough like they had been reheated 5 times food no good we paid an left we also was ask how it was an I told them they done nothing I eat there alot I'll never go back, it used to be a really good place to eat now I wouldn't feed it to my dog! They have lost my business I didn't wanna give this place one star this place sucks!!!!!!!
