I am a regular traveler, therefore it is important to find a high quality car rental company. I have been renting their vehicles for 2 years now, since 2019 & 2020. This agency is perfect! Raquel manages very well and has always treated me properly. She goes above and beyond to make sure I get a high quality rental and reliable transportation at a great price. Shiori is a good sales woman also. She has helped me many times with the contract & return elements. This diverse team offers multiple languages such as English, Spanish, and Japanese to assist many customers in car rental. I highly recommend this small car rental agency located next to San Diego International airport. Easy access. Yes, rent from them.

THE 375 $ PER MONTH IS A TRICK!
1/10 never again!

I said give me the cheapest car you have for three and a half months. They gave me a totally deteriorated corolla with mold on the ventilation slots.
And then they charged 475 $ per month because: „if you want to rent it for three and a half months, you pay three monthly rates and two weekly rates“.

As soon as I drove off I recognized they also cheated with the gas level because their cars are parking at a hill. They wrote down 5/8 - after I drove down the hill 100ft it was 4/8. Hopefully worth it

During the time, the trunk lock broke. I wrote an e-Mail and also complained about the high price for that car*. No answer at all. Still no answers at return. No discount no excuse not even a free drop off at my place. Nothing

*yes you need the key to open the trunk and yes you need to lock and unlock every single door manually and yes you roll down the windows manually. And yes I understand that you get the cheapest car if you want the cheapest price. But this was not the cheapest price at all! So, not even close to reasonable

I rented a car for 1 month. I had an issue with my driver's license in that it was going to expire in 8 days, and I was working on resolving that issue with the DMV. They were well aware of that issue, and said worst case scenario I could "just return the car when it expired." They had me pay for a month up front, because they claimed I had to "lock in the rate" and that it would be much more expensive to rent by the week. They did not tell me how much a weekly rental would cost, and did not present any other options for my situation.

When I got the car it only had 1/4 tank of gas so I went to fill up the gas tank. After filling up, it didn't start. I had to pump the gas pedal to get it to start. It did this again the 2nd time I filled the tank. After a few days of driving the car, all of the warning lights were on (tire pressure, air bags, check engine), and I no longer felt safe driving it around. It could break down at any minute.

I brought the car back a few days before my license was to expire, and it was then that they informed me they "don't do refunds" and all they could do was exchange the car. They did not have a decent car to give me in exchange. They ended up giving me the only other car on the lot with air conditioning, and every time you try to get in the car, the alarm goes off until you push a button and start it. I am not satisfied with this quality of exchange, and I also have the issue of my license to deal with. They tell me I can return the car and have a few days credited at the end for the few days I won't have a license. This is not a solution because I was also required to get a non-owner insurance policy, which is only good for 1 month.

I would like to simply return the car, which probably should not have passed inspection in the first place, and get some of my money refunded. I do not want an exchange because they do not have any reliable road-worthy cars. They should be ashamed of how they run the business. They are taking advantage of people in difficult situations without being up front about their policies. They are making promises that they cannot keep.

If zero stars were only possible. I never leave reviews but this was just so ridiculous. Betsa, if that is even her real name, answered the phone and was beyond unhelpful on answering any questions then had attitude. She said she could look up some answers but was rude when I said That's what I would like her to do. I asked if I could speak to a manager, she hesitated and said he might be in around noon and that she could handle anything until he's in 3 hours. Obviously she couldn't or I wouldn't have had to speak with a manager. I've been in customer service for 15 years and never once would I or any of my staff act like she did. Although I am upset about this girls attitude and helpfulness, I am beyond happy I did not give my money to them. I highly suggest nobody work with this company.

It good considering the price of the rentals. Keep in mind that there is no refund policy and $1000 deductibles in the insurance. No major problems, go ahead if you are looking to save some money.

WOWI have rented a car from Express for several months now and have had the best experience from them. The customer service is fantastic, professional & friendlythe car I have been fortunate enough to have rented the entire time has been terrificnot a problem at all. They check the oil, tires brakes & engine every month to make sure it is safe. They have been nothing short of excellent & this is after a long term rental!!

Rented a car for a weekend road trip. Everything went fine car was in a good shape, price was good and I had no problem with renting or whatsoever. So, if you want a good car for a good price, this is the place.

I rented a car for one month do do a road trip around California, Arizona and Nevada. Before renting the car I did not check the google references which was a mistake. Nonetheless everything went well.

I got a Toyota Camry which was in a pretty decent shape. When you do walk around the car just make sure that the manager really saves ALL the damages on the vehicule prior to the rental. Otherwise you'll end up paying for it. I even took pictures of the entire car (even underneath it) just to make sure that I'm backed up.

The trip was fine and returning the car was good too. However, I give this rental service only 4 stars because they don't allow their cars to Utah. If you're planning on seeing the Ojalito Monument Valley, Zion National Park etc. this is a problem. They were not very helpful when I called them to discuss the issue.

In case you want to rent a cheap car this is a good bet. Just make sure you don't wreck the car and absolutely make sure to document the state of the vehicule prior to renting it. I would rent with this company again however.

Bad experience. Unfriendly staff. Old vehicles and high price. Definitely not my choice anymore. Never search for low rate car rentals. Pay 10 more bucks extra and have a safe trip. Saving money doesn't keep you safe. Never deal with greedy car rental enterprises. Stay safe and happy.
