Had a great time at the resort, we stayed in the big cabin, it slept the 5 of us, but could've slept many more, it was a beautiful cabin and we will definitely be back.

It was a place to get NO sleep. Rick, the Manager? seemed to be a nice guy at first, yet after we were shown our room, which contained no kitchenette and only bunk beds and a single, (no Box Springs) Rick did offer us the little bear cabin, which was too claustrophobic for myself. we decided to stay on the bunkbeds. NOT the best choice at all. no sleep up all night was like sleeping on concrete. Brought it up to Rick and told him for our two night stay this would not work. He did not seem to care. So I told him we would just like a refund, NOPE already deposited your money I was told and no refunds allowed he is not in charge of the money, I asked who was, he said his partner. I should have thrown a complete fit but, I thought it would be better to turn his one into the better business bureau about half paid in check and the other in cash. I did talk to other guests and seems that is the way they are running this business, half in cash and half in credit. I hope the true owner knows this. Either way they will find out. Our loss, for now, I guess, and I will chalk it up to experience. Get this, we were gone to dinner came back and the door that lead into the greeting room was opened so anyone could walk right through our room, not cool, I told Rick and he seemed to shrug it off. Not the way to run a resort by no means. Good Luck in the future.

Stayed in the Big Cabin and it is nice. Has 5 beds 3 bed rooms 1 bathroom and living room. The deck on the outside is awesome it wraps half the cabin and its right off the water. Has free WiFi (although spotty) and tv inside. Great public boat launch area and cool little beach area for night fires.

Evans Lake is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed staying in the cabins with friends. We would love to bring our family for a long weekend. The kids would love the lake. It is beautiful!
