We were offended by your lack of participation in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance program, after you treated me in the SGMC ER for an emergency rotator cuff tear in my shoulder in July 2015. I was at "stop loss" with Blue Cross and owed them no money for the rest of the year. Throughout the year we received a bill for more than $500 from Beaked Salmon of Philadelphia. My husband Jim and I did not pay that bill, as the Blue Cross EOB said at the bottom that billing might only occur from a non-participating physician if the treatment was non-emergency. When you threatened this month to take us to a debt collection agency, we sent the check to your Philadelphia office. We did not appreciate your treatment of us.
